These socks are the softest, non-itchy wool crew socks I have ever purchased; they also have the added benefit of staying up on the ankle without gripping so tightly they leave an impression. I have no idea how they accomplish this feat, but I found it absolutely amazing. I'm tempted to cite other manufacturer's by name whose socks I wear regularly, and the list is lengthy, but that's forbidden, so, suffice it to say that no matter the style, length, or size, no other sock I've purchased stays up without gripping my leg and leaving an impression which persists for some time after removing the sock.I bought 1 package of 5 pair of these socks to test against other manufacturers product for replacing several pair of old medium weight hiking socks. After test comparison, I bought 15 additional pair of these. Only one other manufacturer equaled these for softness, but the ankle grip on them was too tight.BTW I wear a 10M/43 shoe and purchased sock size 14-18. I'm 5'8", 180 lb and I don't have fleshy ankles, lol.

Five stars for me personally , maybe only four stars for the general public. Not super cushy or super warm, but above average in those traits. What I really love is how very easy they are to put on. Also love that they are a true crew length. About two inches taller than quarter socks. Most socks listed as crew length go half way up the calf. These really are crew length. Though they feel loose fitting , the cuff has plenty of elastic. They stay up fine. After a long search and many disappointments I have found my perfect socks!

I love the material and quality of these socks but they're not very tall and they tend to slide down even shorter. If they had a couple inches more length they'd be five stars. I have size twelve feet.

Sie lassen sich problemlos in jedem Schuh tragen. Das war mir auch wichtig... Sie sind sehr gut verarbeitet, dass sieht man nicht nur am Bündchen, welches Innen top vernäht ist. Sondern auch wenn man den gesamten Strumpf von Innen sieht. Die Farben sind auch klasse, gefallen mir weil sie recht neutral in Natur Tönen gehalten sind.Das Material ist auch toll, ich bekomme keine Schwitzüße, das Material insgesamt und auch das Bündchen, ist sehr schön dehnbar und nicht zu fest. Habe sie sogar in der Nacht getragen, weil sie absolut angenehm zu tragen sind. Habe sie bei 30° gewaschen und sie haben sich nicht verändert. Klare Kaufempfehlung!

I thought at first i bougt to big ones, BUT fits almost perfekt! *better say I rather by to big then to small. But it at first use & glanse it feel so god & smooth have them on! & it depends on time & wear. But so far 20/10 yes. & I have realy cold feet & this & the other socks i just bougt dose a god work from keeping it from ice!

Bought these for my elderly father. He was cutting the elastic around the top of his socks as they were too tight. He loves these socks as they don’t dig in and make marks on his ankles. He also likes the feel of them, soft & warm.
