I have used it to cut roof tiles and box metal, and it has performed equally well on both. Not a brand I knew, but I would say it is very good value for money. I would recommend it based on use so far.

Great basic grinder. comes with a selection of discs, including a sanding disc which I've just used to sharpen a couple of lawnmower blades. power switch works easily enough. safety guard has a bit of flexibility in positioning which is good. Not designed to be a professional quality tool I suspect, but for occasional DIY use seems good value.

The spanner is needed to stop the main shaft from moving while you try to release the disc using the provided disc spanner. Without this locking spanner, it is very difficult to loosen the disc. The grinder is also heavier compared to other similar products, which can be a bit inconvenient. It is quite noisy during operation, but considering the price is less than half that of well-known brands, this seems like a fair tradeoff. Overall, this grinder offers great value for its price. It is a solid, efficient tool that any DIY enthusiast would find useful. The only real drawback is the missing locking spanner, which hopefully the seller will provide, or alternatively, buyers can use a spare if they have one.

It is worth buying this product...

Bought as I needed a grinder for a project , to cut metal for welding etc. Firstly do not use if you have big hands with the handle, your Knuckles/fingers are ridiculously close to the blade. Secondly, I have only Used 3 times, and the safety guard fell off it's attachment. This sadly wasn't the only issue, I was using the cutting disks to cut through thin solid rods and the cutting disk broke, luckily before the safety did!! The only positive thing about this is the grinding blades , they're pretty good and you get a couple. Avoid!
