These things are awesome. They can't finish the torque down on a bolt, but they quickly get you there. Especially good in tight spaces or working blind when you can't really see the part your wrenching on. They are my new favorite tool.

Bought these to specifically install lots of SMA bulkhead mounts to get them all finger tight for torqueing and made it very efficient compared to a wrench or typical wretched driver. No compkaints!

Worked well for my needs

This is a set of thumb wheel ratchet covering 1/4 to 1/2 inch.While the 1/4 inch ratchet can occasionally be useful when working in confined spaces, I don’t see how you would use a hand ratchet like this on anything that warrants a 1/2 inch drive.I have not encountered a failure, but the feel of the tools with the plastic handle does not inspire overwhelming confidence in its sturdiness.That said, I don’t see how I would be able to get a lot of force on these anyway, so this might be a theoretical issue.Overall these are not bad for the price and will server their purpose. However, I must admit I rarely ever use them. I guess they looked more useful in theory than they are in practice for me…

Like the title says, it's a handy tool to have, especially for tight areas. Might only use a few times a year, but worth it for taking out long bolts in tight areas or tighten and loosening clamps.
