Simple and Rugged
I've had my Stone Mountain for nearly a year now, and I have been extremely pleased with the thing. The bike is simple and rugged; for me, it has been way more reliable than I expected. I've been using it for my daily commute, in hot sun, driving rain, and even some snow, and I've put something over 1000 miles on it. It has been a fantastic value for the price. Probably not the best choice for use on pavement (the rear tire has been worn flat, so I'll need to replace it soon), but a great starter bike for general use.

Great Bike for Heavier Riders
The primary reason I bought this bike is due to the tutorial on how to build the bike. I am actively seeking to loose weight and love bike riding and finding trails. I wanted a good quality hike that could also handle all 230lbs of me. I am enjoying this one immensely. The seat is a bit uncomfortable but I’ve never known a bike to have a perfect seat.

Shame on Amazon for labeling this “Amazons Choice”
I really hate writing a bad review, I have a business and I understand when idiots want to rant about nonsense to get money back. That’s not why I am here. I am here because I just want to save others from going through what I went through. I almost always read reviews before I buy, but I didn’t on this one because I trusted the “Amazon’s Choice” label that’s put next to the rating. I figured I can’t go wrong. I don’t know pricing on bikes, and I take responsibility for that, if I knew that the price would lead to me saying “you get what you pay for” I would have bought a nicer bike, which, I’m going to have to end up doing now anyway. This bike is junk, it might as well be sitting in a dump somewhere. It’s garbage. I’ve ridden it maybe 4 times. Every single time I ride it (I’ve been trying to ride for about an hour to get a decent work out), every time I ride this bike the handle bar comes loose. The first time it came so loose it was just flopping around and almost falling off, I couldn’t believe it. I thought maybe I didn’t tighten it enough. So each time now before I ride, I have to tighten it as much as possible and every single time by the end of the hour it’s coming loose. Now on my last ride yesterday, not only was the handlebar coming loose, the left pedal is falling off. Keep in mind I’m not doing bike stunts or tricks, I’m not mountain biking on crazy trails. I am riding my bike around boston on flat easy to ride bike trails that aren’t strenuous. I am a novice rider who is barely even pushing the limits of the bike yet this piece of trash is falling apart right from under me as I ride it gently around bike trails in the city. It’s kind of a joke. Don’t waste your money, seriously. Spend a little more and get a real bike. Now I will have to do the same and just eat the loss because the return policy doesn’t let me return it anymore and I haven’t even had it a month. Enjoy the money you robbed me of, huffy, you’ll never get another dollar from me ever again.

First time bike purchase online experience
I gave this bike 4-star base on it’s price and quality. It could be 2 stars if that’s a 300+ price but a bike for just 160 I don’t have much to complain. It’s perfect for my situation as a beginner to enjoy parks and easy bike trail in CA. Things I like about this bike: it’s light weight although it’s steel frame, all parts in good shape, come with tools to assemble, paint looks good, and easy to work on, 21 gear to select, And good price. Overall it’s really nice to buy for a beginner trail biker, but you should avoid using it for some serious hard trail biking or downhill, that’s not what it made for. Things I don’t like: one of the sticker is a little peel off; seat is not comfort after just 10mins riding, I’ll probably switch it to a better one; The third major gear takes longer than the first two gear to hook on; after suspension reach the bottom point, seems like it stays there and won’t release itself back( for this I’m not sure if that’s how it works so I’ll leave a question mark). Bike isn’t that hard to assemble cuz major parts were ready, it’s my first time to put a bike together and I follow every steps on YouTube, only thing that vedio missing is to put the chain on. But you do need to adjust both front& back brakes.

WAY better looking than I expected! :-)
I live in Oregon where we're expecting a big quake, and I got this bike as a way to quickly retrieve my child from school after the quake when most of the roads are out. I was looking for a fairly inexpensive, but good, mountain bike I could keep in the garage. Google Gemini pointed me to several, and the price was right for this one. I picked the cheapest color, and I picked one that was "Used - Like New", and ordered it. I frankly expected it to be ugly, or super heavy, or generally cheap, but the opposite is true. I didn't really like how the black bike looks in the pictures, but it actually looks really good in person! It has a nice finish and an outdoor vibe - it looks cool! I assembled it and I'm still getting it all set up, but I actually LOVE this bike and I'm kind of excited about it now. I might actually ride it for other reasons - like to head into town, or just for fun, which I wasn't really expecting. I've had two other bikes as a grown-up, and I didn't like them as much as this one at all. I think this is a probably a good around-town bike for anyone who could encounter rugged terrain as part of their trip. It's probably not the right bike for people with more serious needs, although it could be set up like that - it's just there are probably lighter bikes out there, and ones with less nubby tires that would get better mileage if they're not needed. But for casual use, for post-emergency use, or to get a great bang for your buck, I would definitely recommend this bike.

Junk..
It's an Okay bike, but the quality of component is pretty terrible. packing materials aren't great so expect damage, the component show name brand, but they aren't. The shifters on the bars are junk, the whole bike is pretty much crap. Huffy hasn't been made in the USA in decades and it shows. If you buy a Huffy from the 80's you could run it over with a truck and still ride it home, if you sneeze on this one it will bend..

Perfect trail cruiser with a few upgrades
I’m a bigger guy (6’ 240lbs) and this bike has been great so far. I was worried it would fall apart after a few runs but it has held up great for well over 2 dozen rides. It took a bit to get the gears shifting properly but i have them dialed in now with no hesitation or skipping EVER which surprised me. 3 things I would recommend: First I bought a nice wide, soft seat which makes a huge difference as the stock one is like sitting on a skinny rock. Second I bought wider, longer hand grips. My hands were hanging off sides of the ones that came stock. Lastly, and what helped me enjoy this bike the most was upgraded metal spiked pedals. The stock ones are plastic and my feet were sliding off them constantly especially on wet days. Probably spent a total of 75 bucks on all the upgrades and it was well worth it. I’m not jumping off any cliffs or anything just cruising through the bumpy woods and this bike has been perfect for that.

VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE
Purchased a new bike for my grandson. Received April 9th - Assembled (Gift for Easter) Given to him April 17th - Bike is not usable. When riding over rough ground, seat pops up for no reason-unable to just adjust- has to be removed and corrected with wrench. Tried 3 chats to have this seat replaced and was offered a $20 discount and I can go out buy a replacement seat. WOW, where is warranty, where is customer service - asking me to disassemble this bike - rebox it and return it for a refund vs just replacing the defective part. This is not acceptable when making purchase of a new product.

Great bike for my 7 year old.
Took about 30 mins to assemble. I did have to adjust the detailed screws a bit to get all gears to work but it was pretty easy to do. Overall my kid loves it. It’s quite light vs my other sons CCM bike of the same size.

This Bike is suck, low quality , not even a mountain bike
I have bought it a month ago. And today when I ride on the road, the handle is easily move which makes me fall on the ground. Luckily, I did not in dangerous , just bleeding a bit, but if people ride it in some bad environment or near a car. I can not believe what will happen
