When I saw this fixture I knew it was exactly what I wanted but was somewhat reticent about buying it based upon many reviews which said the directions were terrible and some who said it was one of the most difficult fixtures they had ever put together and installed, despite the fact they had installed many others. I am not good at directions and usually don't even read them unless I get stuck so maybe that is why I had no problems, whatsoever, putting it together. I took it out of the packaging (which I might add, was well done) and just started putting it together using common sense (I am a visual person). I had it together in about 10 minutes and left it on the table for my handyman to hook up to the electrical wiring. He had to cut a new hole since I wanted it over about 3 feet from the other ceiling fixture. He had it cut out and hooked together in about 30 minutes. I attached a picture of what it looks like turned on and off -- beautiful both ways.

Initially I thought the light was lovely but after putting it together I discovered the diffuser does not cover the bottom of the light completely and does not fit correctly due to a slightly misshapen shade. The shade fits inside of the metal cage and sits on clips. The fit was so tight the shade bowed on the sides leaving an uneven gap. Even if it fit correctly there would have been a noticeable gap all the way around the diffuser which is visible from below and allows one to see the light bulbs. It's definitely to small. I felt this ruined the look of what could have been a beautiful light and frankly would have bothered me every time I looked at it. It may be that this one was defective and I returned it as such but I did not want to risk getting a replacement and have to return a second light. There is one other review here that vaguely mentions the same issue. Not sure why others complained about the instructions. Yes its a small diagram but I had little to no issues assembling it. Sad it didn't work out.

I really loved the look of this item which is why I ordered a second one for another hallway but unfortunately the second one came in a box that had a label inspected on it. At first I didn't give it much thought but while unwrapping this one I noticed it was packaged differently from the first. Also once my electrician was done installing this one the light was flickering and he was unable to attach the outer bronze part to the shade because a clip was missing which therefore was unable to be hung. I believe this second order was used and returned by another customer which was inspected by the company and resent to me. I was so disappointed because the first order turned out great and had no issues. I returned this second order and re-ordered another one being that I really love the look of this light fixture. Hopefully the re-ordered one will be new and have no issues.

Love my light fixtures I got two they are beautiful. Be careful not to over look the frosted glass cover in between the box and styrofoam. I almost threw it away and I was looking because I knew there should be another piece. And then I almost dropped it. So glad my husband saw it

I wanted an stylish replacement for a flush mount butlers pantry light. I love the style of this light and with the 3 LED lights I can see everything in the pantry area really well. My husband also commented on the significant increase in light for this small area between the kitchen and dining room. I love this light. My husband installed it with no problems.

I bought this light for a 10' x 12' office. It was relatively easy to install. The quality is good for the price. Needed a bit more light for all of the Zoom calls. At first I thought that three 60W equivalents would be too bright, but it's just the right amount of light for the space. Overall, very pleased.

I just unpacked this product and could not unpack it before as I am handicapped and had to wait for my contractor. I had bought the flush mount version for another house I remodeled. It also had problems The shade has a slash mark through it as well as a gray curvy 's' shape on it. Am I supposed to think this was quality controlled or a good product? Product is GARBAGE

The light is beautiful in my small dining room/breakfast area. We bought an older house and are slowly renovating it. The house has just an average height ceiling in the dining room, so this fit perfectly. The amount of light is great!The delivery was fast. The light is awesome in looks. Only one downside.....it was just hard to install. The screws were too long and then trying to fit the two small holes over the screws was hard. Just took a little longer than we expected; but I would do it again because the light itself is fantastic!
