These are really soft! When I took them out of the packaging I wasn't sure it would do a good job at getting lipstick and mascara because they were so soft. However, I was pleasantly surprised at how gentle and effective they were. They're sized to fit perfectly in your hand which makes them easy to use. I've used microfiber face towels before and they definitely get the job done but you have to fold them to get it to fit in your hand and it's rather cumbersome. All in all, great product. Would recommend!
