Doesn't contain harsh chemicals so you can get this on your roots without painful stinging and burning sensations * Doesn't stain skin around ...
In the last year, I went from using conventional dyes once every two month to using henna every month. What are the benefits from switching from dye to henna?* No stinging. Doesn't contain harsh chemicals so you can get this on your roots without painful stinging and burning sensations* Doesn't stain skin around the head and neck as badly and generally washes off after use (it can still stain hands though a bit, beware).* Unlike conventional chemical dye, this doesn't wreck the hair by drawing oils out of it.* Henna behaves like a deep conditioning treatment - the longer it's in, the better the colour, the better your hair will look after - and it gives hair an immensely glossy shine that you'll be complimented on. You can leave it in for hours before rinsing with no worry of it damaging your hair or scalp.* Hair condition stays better far longer, holds on to hydration far better and seems to be protected better from styling.* Unlike Dyes, you can alter the amount of mixture you need without wastage. This product provides the henna in small individual sachets. Short hair? Just use one or two sachets a time rather than have half the mixture being wasted like bottle or foam dye. Far more economical too.* If during application you find yourself starting to run out of the product, you can add another sachet, or if no sachets are left, you can add a little more water to the existing mixture to thin out the mixture and help it spread further - a massive saver if you're running out near the end of application (personally I find the runnier this is, the better it applies without affecting the results). My experience:Not quite as red or vivid as displayed on the box, but with Henna, the shade depends on your own hair colour - the lighter, the more vibrant. On my dark blonde hair, a decent developing time took my hair to a dark brownish red, which was super shiny and glossy - I keep getting compliments on the condition of my hair.Since I switched from conventional chemical dye to henna I've noticed a massive increase in hair condition since using henna, I straighten my hair a few times a week and it still hasn't become fried at the ends, the style holds longer, stays sleeker longer, and even after washing doesn't go quite as frizzy once it's naturally dried. I haven't seen split ends in about a year. Not surprising as henna acts not only as a stain on your hair, but behaves like a deep conditioning treatment. My hair doesn't only look healthier but feels stronger and hydrated, from root to end, it's in far better nick than it ever was and so soft I can't stop touching it.This brand I like in particular, as in the box, there are six separate sachets so if you're only topping up roots or only doing short hair, you don't need to use the entire amount. I have thick shoulder length hair and I find three sachets from the pack will do a complete dye (I make sure the consistency is runny as it spreads better). Paying so little for hair that looks salon done is a godsend (and your natural highlights and low lights show so the hair doesn't look flat).I did note that unlike other brands of henna I've tried, this one doesn't go as powdery and dry out as quickly during application, it seems to make far less mess too.For anyone wondering, you don't need to add anything to this product other than water. I know a few add tea leaves, coffee or oil, but it isn't necessary.Highly recommend.

I use this for deep conditioning and colouring my hair. I apply it then add organic coconut oil and cover with a shower cap for 1-2hrs.it leaves my hair feeling conditined and soft. I am DIY natural product fanatic so this works superbly with my other natural products. Please always do a patch test before using on your whole head.

Nice natural product
Product arrived on time. As an allergy sufferer, I was a bit worried before using the product; however, I didn't suffer any allergic reaction after using it. Moreover, it left a nice burgandy tint on my natural black hair.

very good product
I've used this for several years, and it covers all my grey hairs! Although it's a bit messy, and stains anything it gets on, it's a natural product, so I don't worry about it damaging my hair, even though I apply it quite frequently.

Can't believe I have to buy it online!
The colour I wanted at a price I'm willing to pay; it is my only concession to vanity, growing old disgracefully.
