This product works great and comes with plenty of parts, making it an affordable way to childproof furniture. Installation was fairly easy — just two screws per attachment with a metal cord connecting them. The only tricky part was threading the cord through the small holes in a tight space between the wall and the furniture, but it wasn’t too difficult overall.Once installed, it’s extremely effective. I tested my dresser by trying to tip it in different ways, and the anchors held firm without budging. The build quality feels solid and strong, and it works well on any furniture with a flat back that can take screws.The anchors are white, so they’re noticeable against wood, but since they sit behind the furniture you don’t really see them. For the price, it’s a fantastic value — especially considering I once paid $5 for a single metal ring at a hardware store, and this kit gives you ten anchors for less than double that.Highly recommend for anyone with kids who want reliable anti-tip protection.

With young children in the house, furniture anchors are something I don’t like to go without. These were easy enough to install, and the steel cable feels much sturdier than plastic strap-style anchors.The hardware seems durable, and once installed, the furniture feels much more secure. My boyfriend and I purchased this shoe cabinet a couple of days ago and we live in an apartment so we rarely mount anything to the wall, however my very curious orange tabby decided to open the bottom drawer of the cabinet (on the same day) and we caught it just in time from falling onto him.
