Well made, balanced, easy on batteries, puts out a lot of light
Very nice and sturdy flashlight. Good balance and can stand by itself on the battery end. So, it can be used as a standing spotlight, too. The only thing that I don't like is that there is a lower output spotlight setting that is just too hot in the middle. The floodlight setting adds perimeter lights to create a more balanced beam but that doubles the lumens and the power draw. I wish that there was an option for a slightly wider spot light.I used this on the spotlight setting for 3 hours to light up a Christmas display and the lamp used a little more than 1AHr of battery. That was impressive.

FOR THIS PRICE! AWESOME!
Blown away by this light - tons of light in either direct or flood mode. I use my old old Makita small 3amp batteries for it and they last for hours even though these particular batteries have been heavily used with my tools. I have been using it consistently for 3 months and no issues - very durable. I may buy another one to help with shadowing when I’m under vehicles.

Great for camping
I bought this for camping as I already had the batteries. It will be used at home in case of emergencies such as lost of power. Build quality is great and a good value for the money. Battery life is outstanding.

Bright
Pretty bright flashlight with several operation modes. Works well with Makita 18V battery. The head is relatively large so even with the weight of the battery its center of mass is high enough so one needs to be careful about its stability.
