I've been hiking in the Adirondack High Peaks for about 5 years now and wanted to broaden my horizons a bit so some friends and I decided on the Presidential Traverse in New Hampshire. The map has been a valuable tool for planning this trip. There are a lot of trails on these mountains, so paired with the trail guide from the AMC, we were able to plan the ideal trails for our group. If you plan on hiking these mountains, do yourself a favor and pick up both the map and the trail guide book.

The map is as described - waterproof and printed on tyvek.

Very good map with clear map detail and information. More importantly, it shows precisely the Presidential Traverse in it entirety. Well worth the expense!
