Stained Glass Cutting Tool – Not Just Any Stain Glass Cutter The Amazing Glass Cutter Made In UK A Glass Cutter And Running Plier Tool All In One Lets You Cut Straight Radius And Wavy Lines In Stained Glass, Mirror And Glass Tiles. The Stained Glass Scoring Wheel Is Not Sharp, It Is The Dullest Tool You Will Own But The Hardest, The Hardness Of The Stain Glass Cutter Wheel Along With The Special Angle Ground Into The Stained Glass Scoring Wheel Allows The Glass Cutter To Cut Thin And Thick Glass Materials And Hard Tile Without Dulling The Wheel. The Secret To Using The Glass Cutter Is To Follow The Instructions Carefully. Practice On A Spare Piece Of Stained Glass In Order To Work Out Enough Pressure To Apply, Usually Not Enough Pressure Is Applied To Start With But Sometimes Less Pressure Is Better So Practice Makes Perfect. Cutting On The Floor Instead Of On A Solid Board At Waist Height Will Fail And Will Cause Hairline Cracks In The Stained Glass Sheet. Not Oiling The Scoring Wheel And Making Sure It Is Turning Very Freely Will Cause The Wheel To Stick, Drag And Even Lock Up And Just Scratch The Glass Instead Of Scoring It And This Will Prevent The Glass Cutter From Working Correctly. Holding The Stained Glass Cutter By The Grips When Scoring You Will Only Be Applying Minimal Amount Of Pressure If Any On The Cutting Wheel And So The Required V In The Surface Will Not Be Created. Always Pull Towards You Never Push Away. For Stained Glass, Plate Glass, Picture Framing Glass Or Fused Glass The Cutting Wheel Should Be Oiled Every Single Score, Oil Will Run Onto The Glass And Will Not Only Cool Down The Glass And Give A Cleaner Cut It Will Also Extend The Life Of The Cutting Wheel. If You Wipe The Oil Off The Glass And There Is No Score Line, Then You Need To Increase The Pressure – Make Sure You Are Holding Close To The Wheel And Use The 2 Handed Method If Needed Especially If You Do Not Have A Lot Of Strength In Your Hands Or Are Cutting A Very Hard Material. Review: Easy to use, two in one tool - Great to use, lightweight for my hands. Happy with purchase Review: British made quality - Tricky to use initially but once you get the hang of it it's OK. Good quality and british made 😀👍🏻

Only suitable for small pieces of glass
Only managed to cut small pieces of glass, keeps messing up my large glass panels.

Bulky and doesn’t feel good in my hand
Cuts well enough but no reservoir so you need to dip by hand. The handles aren’t comfortable to apply the right pressure and the flaps of the pliers part make it difficult to see your cutting line. Not my favourite tool fo cutting glass for mosaics.

Best glass cutter.
This is the absolute best glass cutter I have seen in my 70 years of life. Smooth cut, easy to control and, best of all, the part of the tool that separates the cut piece is a life saver. So happy to have found this tool.

Very, very difficult to cut 1/4" mirror....
I watched and read all the documentation and wonder how they made it look so easy! It is NOT easy at all and you better have some spare stuff to cut to practice.

Bought this and returned it
Can’t really leave a good product review on this one. Purchased it to cut some tile. Decided against the whole project because it was a little too much for me. This did come packaged well. Decided to return it.

Perfect for this mirror
Used on thick mirror that use to be in a dance studio. I cut the mirror down to use for a sculpture. Much easier to do than expected. I was nervous to begin with thinking glass would fly all over the place but alas it did not. Wear safety glass and gloves as a precaution
