Quality, workmanship.
Easy to fit after watching method on YouTube. Excellent little nib, don't know why I didn't change my italic nib sooner. Perfect fountain pen, I have 3.

My favourite nibs
These are my favourite nibs for writing. This set of two was at a very good price, so were good value. Like all Lamy nibs they are easy to install and remove and will fit at least three types of Lamy fountain pen, making these nibs very versatile. The ink flow is consistent and it doesn't dry out.

Great, except no fine lines
The first one was awfully scratchy, literally making my hair stand on end. It was easily returnable and there was an "order replacement" option in the flow, which I took advantage of. The second one is great. Smooth, and good ink flow. Why 4 stars and not 5? Well, I got the 1.5mm nib with the pen, and wanted this 1.1mm nib as well. The 1.5mm creates superbly fine lines at the right angle, but it's ordinary strokewidth is a bit too thick formost of my uses. However, while the 1.1mm is suitably thinner, I found that I can't create as fine a line with the 1.1mm as I can with the 1.5mm. This 1.1mm nib is somehow more similar in output to a standard medium nib than a chisel tip, which is very disappointing, but it's still a good product and will serve my needs.

Id avoid buying this product. Im fairly sure its a second hand product which is fine if it works, but it doesnt!

Glissssssseeeee !
Juste ce qu'il me fallait. J'ai acheté un Lamy Safari il y a quelques semaines avec une plume fine mais je n'ai pas réussi à m'y faire. Peut-être c'est parce que ça fait des années que je n'ai pas utilisé de stylo plume ? En tout cas, j'ai décidé de prendre une plume plutôt large afin d'obtenir une écriture légèrement 'italique'. Cette plume de 1.1 est parfaite en ce qui me concerne. L'encre coule facilement et la plume glisse sur les pages. Un régal ! En plus, la plume est très bien emballée dans un petit pot en plastique avec de la mousse.
