Good for a 80% answer
Not a 100% fix for destroyed butcher block, maybe 80%. The first picture is after about 3 uses and some sanding. Originally the water damage was much more noticeable. The last picture is after 6 uses and a few coats of oil and finish (oil based). I did notice the oil and finish did not cure as well compared to the untreated wood.

Helped, but didn’t solve my problem
I attempted to remove some dark spots from my oak table. Thankfully I tried it on just a small spot. The dark spots are better, but I was left with a grayish haze to the table. Having to use a tablecloth now.I tried it on another table, a laminate, that had also had some dark spots. This worked better on that. Not perfect, but much better.

Loved this
Worked great on some oak chairs that were covered in small tannin spots! Completely saved the wood and made it look good as new

Works on stains
We have smoked oak hardwood floors imported from Germany. When we ran out of the manufacturers cleaner (came with floor) we started trying this and it works well on stubborn stains/spots
