I'm a long time Asus laptop guy, their my go to brand 99% of the time. So this one was no brainier for me.It's fast, reliable, light and works great. The OLED screen looks wonderful. I wish it could handle more than 40GB of memory and then it would have been perfect.ABM

This is my second time leaving a review for this laptop. I dont know what happened to the first one.I'll start by saying it's a good laptop. This is my 4th Asus and I'm not disappointed in it. I've had it for about a month and have had no issues (multiple ads managers open alongside photo editing apps, and at other times, 10+ windows open.)The laptop is light and efficient. Battery power isn't exceptional, but I don't expect it to be with the way I'm using it. Plugging it in isn't a problem.My only issue is more with the listing instead of the unit itself. The listing states this is a Zenbook, but this is very much a Vivobook. Not a huge issue, the hardware is the main thing - and everything checks out - but its not a Zenbook.

This computer was fantastic right out of the box. I am very happy with it. I only use this laptop for day trading and it is very fast. The only downside is the computer does run hot. I keep it on a fan cooler and this helps. Battery life is ok, when it runs down I just plug it in to the power supply. Not a problem.

This thing is great. Light weight, great value for what’s in it. Screen looks good and the system performs well.

I bought this a s a work computer. I'm a teacher, and I like that the laptop has all the connectors I need - HDMI for presentations, SD reader to download photos from video camera, ethernet connection in class if wifi isn't working. It's also plenty powerful for my purposes.However, it seems glitchy. For on, it runs quite hot, even when I'm not using it. I can close the lid, leave it for hours, and though supposedly in sleep mode- its just hot to the touch. I've started using hibernate instead.Also, I get about 4 hours battery life at most - and that is me just using Word, Adobe, Web-browsing; and in power-saving mode. No gaming or anything like that. No where near the 10 hours advertised.Finally, anytime I power on the computer for the first time, regardless of whatever my first action is, there is always a high-pitched sound - like a half second whistle from high to low. It is annoying. I've never had a computer do this before. It only happens once, and only after start up or restart.--After 6 months, I'd like to update me review. Completely stopped working one day. Won't even turn on. Took it to a service in Taiwan, where I am now working - not under warranty because I bought it on Amazon US. There's just something wrong with this computer. Buy at your own risk...

Perfect. Runs smooth and fast. I’m accessing games on websites I can rarely get on using any other laptops

I bought this laptop to replace an old laptop that my friend turned into a Chromebook. Wow, this thing is notional better, faster, and had a metal chassis, which I wanted as a must have. So far, I am very happy with it. I bought a 4 year year service contract with it.
