dogs love it
it is a value if you consider the deception behind regular dog food in the form of so-called kibble. You can tell the difference when dogs eat this food - species appropriate and without unneeded or possibly harmful ingredients to their digestion. Just be sure to feed them enough, or have alternative real food or something as back up if you are short of supply - don't make the mistake we made of not feeding them enough. It is ''expensive'' or more expensive, but one has to decide on where to allocate one's resources and how to apply more of ones budget to the needs of one's dogs. Bet you could find many areas in your budget and expenditures you could change and reallocate those funds to your pets. Plus we would rather pay for good food than pay for vet dr bills for chronic or avoidable ailments - usually skin and digestion related - and likely attributed to the food (it is ALWAYS due to either the food you feed them OR due to some ''medicine'' they were given.)

My boys LOVE this!
I bought a bag to add to my boys' regular food as a treat. They soon ignored their regular food and demanded this as a full-time replacement. They haven't tired of it, but my pocketbook has. If I could afford to give this to them on the regular I would. One bag feeds them for a week. Easy to make, I boil water in a kettle, prepare it in a bowl with a lid, then transfer to their dish to make it a little less hot. Really good food!

My fussy dog Loves this.
I have a VERY fussy little dog and have gone through trials of many different foods including home delivery of prepared dog foods (Farmers Dog, Nom Nom etc). I tried this as a 'topper' to entice her and she loved it. After reading through the ingredients more thoroughly I saw it's a completely nutritious meal so I now give her half of this product and half wet food (Evolve). Finally she comes running for her meals and eats enthusiastically. I've used both the beef and lamb. I'll definitely continue to purchase this product.. By the way, it makes a great nutritious 'treat' AND my cat loves a couple of pieces every day. It is more expensive than some other foods... but so is throwing out other foods she wouldn't eat! Fortunately she's small so doesn't eat large amounts every day. A reminder...be sure to wash hands after handling since it's a freeze dried RAW product. I highly recommend.

Topper and Mixer- perfect use
The latest bag I bought of this freeze dried topper had a good number of chunks. The chunks are used for small training sessions and our dogs go nuts for them. Once we get to the bottom of the bag, there is quite a bit of powder from the breakage of the larger chunks. The powder is a great food topper. We haven't had any dogs turn their noses from our Buckley treats. If you're opposed to the fine powder, buy in store. It's really a toss up to know if you're going to get solid chunks or fine powders. We've had a mix of both bags when we order these treats (they're a household staple).

Hank loves it
Granted my dog will eat plastic, so obviously he is not picky. But when I take it out of the fridge, his is literally drooling. I add warm water to enough for a couple days and give him about a 1/3 cup-ish with liquid. Man he loves this stuff. And he actually lost a few pounds. He looks pretty trim. I subtract from his dry food when I add this food so I don't overfeed. I'm very happy.

My dog backflips for this food
It's excellent food. Me and JoJo are very impressed. Only problem is it'd be about $120 a month to use it exclusively as a food. He's 14 lb and eats around 400 calories a day, so even the 20 oz bag of Buckley is only about 7 days of calories. It's great travel food for trips tho. Very lightweight and my dog LOVES eating it.

Not at all what i expected! I guess it's true... you get what you pay for!
Well, it really wasn't what i liked or didn't, it's what Mr. Bojangles liked or didn't. Wasn't much he like about it at all. After a couple of meals of putting his nose up to it, he finally ate but i know he wasn't thrilled. We usually feed Stella's but this seemed like a great deal, about half off but is it really a good deal if it doesn't make your pet happy? My main complaint and it is my own fault, is that i ordered 2 of each of the "deals" and let the return date pass me by. If there was one. I don't know for sure.

Gets my picky eater to eat!
I put this on my husky's food because he is a picky eater. He loves this stuff and it helps him eat the rest of his food. I crush it up and sprinkle it in with his regular food. Definitely recommend!
