I wanted to build a blues machine out of a Squier Mini Strat. I mean a proper in-your-face tone king... I could have spent a lot more doing a lot less. They fit relatively well (slight modification to the custom pickguard), were easy to wire (I prefer the tonerider insulation to most other brands), and gave me that proper low-tone blues that I was looking for. They also can give me a thicker clean than the Surfari pickups I have in different Squier Mini. They are well built and the proper color for the look I was going for. A good value and helped me change brands of pickups for future builds.

Tones are clear and articulate. Great sounding pickup at a reasonable price. Highly recommend.

These are fantastic. So well made for the money and have great tone. From gorgeous cleans to screaming blues lead tones, these handle it all very well. I don’t feel the need to go with anything more expensive. Phenomenal value. Can’t go wrong with these and I can’t recommend them enough for vintage tone.
