That was me too. I knew about Sorbothane from other projects and know it is the high end and well-engineered product it claims to be. The manufacturer obviously knows that too and apparently puts a premium on the price (seems like they did read R&D to invent the right vibration absorbing material). So I took the plunge the purchase them and needed to be impressed otherwise I would return them. The immediate result is impressive reduction in the floor based noise for both the Samsung washer and dryer on pedestals. I really cannot hear them in different parts of the house anymore since these pads have soaked up that vibration to the tile and floor joists. They don’t stop in ambient sounds from buttons smashing the front glass or the drum in the dryer but that is out of scope for this product. End result is an effective product at a tough to swallow price. My wife is also pleased with the performance as well since she was rather skeptical. Now I tried to stick them underneath the political agendas going on in the world to quiet them down, but alas they didn’t fit and perhaps are not able to take the weight of that much rhetoric. I might try sticking them under the neighborhood gossip next, wish me luck.

To paraphrase the Beach Boys, "I'm picking up no vibrations..."
Works well. Front loader washer is not quieter and vibrations are not not transferred to floor when it goes into super jet speed spin cycle. The two types of rubber really work well together and appear to be of good quality. Its tricky to get these under the feet of the machine of course, but that is not a fault of the product in any way. Pricey but recommended.

Stopped walking but not severe vibration.
Kept my LG Washing machine from walking but did little to dampen the vibration. My machine is perfectly level but on second floor with pedestal.

Cut down my LG HE vibration about 50%. For the price, I was hoping for more but the product did help.

Very Satisfied & Happy
Our new washer and dryer originally sat directly on a tile floor located on the second story laundry room of our home. This resulted in undesirable noise and vibration throughout the home, and was very noticeable on our first floor. Modern front load machine designs are achieving very high RPM speeds, which can result in more noticeable vibration throughout the home and also create annoying noise. The materials comprising the Silent Feet pads are very dense, yet soft enough to isolate the machine's energy preventing it from transferring into the hard tile floor. We are no longer bothered by the sound of the machines in operation, and wish would have made the purchase sooner. I feel confident they will stand the test of time. I would say that we silenced noise and vibration from the operation of the washer and dryer by 80 to 90%. Really couldn't be happier.
