Awesome hatchet
I bought the small hatchet for my wife. It’s a good quality wasn’t really sharp out of the box. It has a nice leather sheath. The sharpening puck works extremely well. Put a nice edge on it. My wife loves it for camping.

Great Axe
They really took great pride in their craftsmanship of this beautiful axe. It's not only beautiful but works great for splitting wood and camping! This is our go to axe. We loved it so much we just ordered another one. The balance and weight are perfect! Keep up the amazing work, thank u!

Little
This axe is well made and looks awesome! It's a little smaller than I expected but that's my fault for not reading the description. It's tough and has a good weight balance. Good value for a throwing axe.

Buy it, very happy with purchase seems to hold edge well.
Holds edge well, came with spare wedges sheath fit very nice and snug as it should when new! Blade is not Chinsy and small has some weight, go with the 11inch. Has a nice handle, should last a lifetime with care. Not for throwing so I don't really understand why it is marketed as such.

Heavy duty, durable, quality product!
This is the second I have bought. My 30 year old son fell in love with the first one so I gave it to him. We use them hunting, hiking, ATV'ing, and just keep it in the car in case of Zombies attacking. They fit in our hands perfect, are well balanced, and heavy enough to make quick work chopping wood for kindling or firewood. Very high quality product for the money.

Great camping hatchet
I love this little hatchet. It is sturdy, well-made and gets the job done! It needs a bit of sharpening when you get it (probably for safety) but is super easy to sharpen with the whetstone provided. Just look up some YouTube videos on how to sharpen an axe - anyone can do it. I use it mainly for chopping up woody polypore mushrooms like reishi and meshima so I can make medicinal teas and tinctures. I'm sure it would also work well for hacking up small logs for a campfire. It is beautiful and functional, and I highly recommend it.

Low QC
Cons: Right off the bat, the sheath does not fit the axe I received. The handle is too light for the weight of the head which makes swinging it very awkward. The bit is fat and it isn't sharp at all. In fact its pretty dull as it gets down towards the heel. This doesn't make for great kindling splitting as you would want a thinner/lighter bit for more fine cutting. I guess that's why it came with a wet stone? The fact that this comes with a couple extra dowels is a bit disconcerting (do they expect you to replace it if the head gets loose or flies off?) but I'll take them for future projects.Pros: For $30 you can't beat it. Wet stones alone cost that much if they are good quality. The head looks to be decent quality and can be honed to be a much better tool with some elbow grease. If anything you can always remove the current handle and buy a better one to install with the extra dowels they give you. For me to be able to use the sheath I'll have to cut off the strap and just use it as a slide on/ slide off which is fine honestly. All in all you get what you pay for with this and that's pretty much what I was expecting. I definitely want to make it as capable as it can be in its current form but that will take a lot of time sharpening and honing. If you are looking to buy this I would go into it knowing it's going to be a bit of a project to get to work how you would like it to. If you want a high quality hand-made chopper you'll be looking at $200-$500 depending on the smith.
