I got this cooler because I'm on the road most days and my lunch has to sit in the back of my un-airconditioned van for up to 6 hours before I get a chance to eat. I have never opened it up to find my lunch warm. Excellent cooler. OK the one draw back is the external dimensions are a little big but I wouldn't want the interior any smaller.
