I bought this to replace a mechanism that runs way too fast and gained about 5 minutes a week. The first one of these I got would run for a few hours, then stop. If I nudged it, it would start up again. I replaced the battery a couple of times and confirmed that the problem was the new mechanism. I let the company know and they sent me a replacement, no argument. They were polite and quick to respond. When the replacement arrive I took my clock apart again and swapped it out. This new mechanism works well and is just a tiny bit fast, gaining about a second a day. Since I have to adjust my clock twice a year for daylight savings time, this should only be off by about 3 minutes by then.I really like the fancy styling of the hands. It matches my clock face much better than the original hands. I just wish the second hand was black instead of red.Be aware there is not a lot of clearance between the hands so if you bend one up or down even a little they may get hung up on one another. Just make sure none of the hands hit each other before you close up the clock.

I really love this quartz movement! So easy to install and the hands are beautiful on my clock that my mother made at least 40 years ago! I have attached a pic.

Shipped quickly and safely packed. Works well. I think the best thing about it is how clear the assembly directions are and the text is actually large enough that I could read it without a magnifying glass. I like DIY projects and looks and works well with my new clock.

The clock dials are made of super-thin stamped metal. When I installed it on my clock, they bent easily. Although they work, I was afraid they would bend & then break.

I used this to replace a loudly ticking clock mechanism, and it was perfect. Keeps time very well and is quiet. Perfect for our needs.

Works for what i bought it for, nothing to write home about, but works for about 3 months now and is still going.
