I wish this had come in a larger size other than that it works

The bait bucket seems to be made with sturdy plastic and holds up well when full. The zipper and fabric on the top on the other hand is cheap and weak and hard to zip I see it not lasting long at all unless you spray it with some flex seal to keep the fabric together over time. And even after doing that I picture it lasting only a year or 2 with stong use if that . I imagine cutting the mesh top off after it fails but other than that its still worth the money and will give it 4 stars since the top zipper and fabric wasnt good . the string and handle are a great addition for it and also the supports on the side since I will be folding it flat when not in use and in travel . but I would recommend it for specific uses for getting a couple dozen minnows on short fishing trips and worth the money . hope my reveiw helps first time buyers!

Good points: I like the bucket and the rope attached to it. I was able to attach a little aerator and it kept minnows alive. The bucket holds its shape and has not collapsed.Bad points:My new problem is keeping the water cold. I put a frozen water bottle in there and that does ok but it bobs around. I wish there was a hook or something to keep a frozen water bottle or ice pack from bobbing. Also, it would be nice to have a solid lid instead of just the mesh. The solid lid would keep the water cold longer.

Needed something small for use on my kayak. It collapses thin enough, but will not stay unless something keeps it compressed. Weight on top or little bungies. Can open diagonal slit in mesh to snatch bait, or open the whole top. Due to small size need to refresh water or use a pump. I bought an inexpensive pump. About 2 dozen shrimp fit comfortably. Line is long enough to reach off a small bridge! I'll be real happy if it holds up. If not, I'll update here.

Bought it for a vaca to Florida so that I could grab some shrimp and wander away from everyone else to do some fishing. I didn’t have very high hopes when I bought it because of the price, but I was pleasantly surprised. It’s quite rugged and the materials used can take a beating without being torn or damaged. The attached rope is unnecessarily long in my opinion, but some may find it useful. My only concern long-term is that the zippers fail or corrode but it hasn’t happened yet even though it was used in salt water for a week+. When I wasn’t using it for shrimp, the wife would take it out picking shells which worked really well, too. After picking her shells covered in sand, she could just zip the top closed & rinse everything underwater at once leaving a basket of clean prizes. All things considered, if I needed another small live-bait pail, I’d be comfortable buying a 2nd of these.

I got this for my camping trips to hold bait from my cast net. Worked amazing, just let the bucket hang out in the water while I fished. Easily collapsed up and was able to be stored during transport on my kayak for my camping trips. 10/10

Works very well and has multiple uses. I use it to carry bait and ice within my large tackle box on the way in or camping, or as a live well for live bait. Very useful when high off the water base to retrieve lake/river water. Easily collapses and takes up minimal space within the tackle box at the end of the trip. Can’t go wrong with this pop up bucket.

This bucket is quite small, but appears to be very good quality at a very low price. It’s collapsable which is useful when space is important. The other BIG PLUS was seller responsiveness!
