Don’t let the price fool you, I was sceptical at first, but this set has become one of my go‑to tools in the kitchen. I’ve whipped up heaps of dinners and lunches with it and highly recommend it. Pros: - Good value: full 11‑piece set covers most prep needs (chef, carving, bread, paring, utility, steak knives plus sheaths and sharpener) - Comes sharp out of the box and the included two‑stage sharpener keeps the edges usable for maintenance - Protective sheaths make storage safer and help preserve the blades - Lightweight, ergonomic handles reduce wrist fatigue during longer prep sessions - Non‑stick coating helps slices come off cleanly and makes washing faster - Sturdy stainless steel for everyday use; extra blades for steaks and bread included Cons: - Blade steel is 3Cr13 stainless — durable and affordable but not the same edge‑holding or corrosion resistance as higher‑grade steels; may need more frequent sharpening with heavy use - Plastic handles are comfortable but not as premium or long‑lasting as full‑tang wooden or metal handles - Serrated blades are useful for bread and some tasks but limit edge consistency across the set if you prefer all‑plain edges I use the chef and utility knives daily for vegetables, protein and meal prep, and the paring knife for small tasks. Some months ago I was searching on this well known online retailer that's situated on a river in South America for a cheap knife sharpener for the dulling second hand knives that I was gifted upon moving into my first flat, on my own, almost two years ago. For roughly the same cost as most of the sharpeners, I found this set that came with a whole set of knives, which seemed silly to pass up. The sharpener rejuvenated my old knives perfectly, but the new knives I had intended to use as spares have become the primary knives. Not only were they sharp, but each one comes with a smart little plastic sheath - perfect for extra safety in my kitchen drawers due to not having a knife block. One of the things I most love though is the non-stick surface on them - something I had never seen on a knife before nor did I spot it in the description, but came as a life changing surprise. Cutting soft, sticky cheeses, amongst other things, is now an absolute pleasure. The knives barely need cleaning but they dry instantly once cleaned - the satisfaction of watching the water run straight off them still brings me joy months later. On the rare occasions I have guests, I take great enjoyment at making sure I show, and then try for themselves, the joy of cutting sticky foods and then running the knives under water and achieving instant dryness - my dull guests have so far all agreed and understood my enthusiasm. Over some months though, probably due to my using it to cut things it shouldn't be cutting, one of my knives started to feel a bit dull. I know the sharpener worked on the old knives, but I was worried about whether the new knives, at less than £20, would hold up as well. I carefully sharpened the blade and it felt satisfying. But to really know whether it worked I had to test it thoroughly. It's an unconventional method of testing, but the results speak for themselves. It went through smoothly, like it was butter. A really good clean cut that instantly got the juices flowing. Such a good clean cut that bar a nanosecond of sting, there is no pain because it went nicely through the nerve. 10/10, would recommend the knife set for the sleek looks, the sharpener and the increased safety in my overcrowded knife drawer. But I would also urge anyone who hasn't experienced non-stick knives to get yourself a set ASAP. The non-stick surface is a game changer. It's so effective that it seemingly stopped any trace of blood appearing on the knife. I feel this product is missing a trick in the marketing - great for cooks, superb for opening packages and letters but also probably great for hitmen, due to DNA not sticking to it.

Overall Performance: 🌟Sharp and Durable! 🌟Blade Covers are perfect! 🌟 Comfortable to hold! These knives are surprisingly good! They’re sharp, the durability is brilliant and the material makes me so happy. I’ve had so many knives where the black of the handle has peeled off during the wash (I hand wash them) or the comfort of the handle has been too much that it’s bruised and blistered my skin. But THESE KNIVES don’t do any of that, they’re comfortable to hold and there’s been no peeling of material at all! They haven’t rusted either, the handles still very well built. The material is easy to clean except for the black covers, they take a little more scrubbing if you happen to get food on them but others their perfect. The blade covers are so ideal, no nipping of fingers when in search for a knife anymore! I’d buy again if I needed to, they’re brilliant and haven’t dulled much yet.

Sharp and comfortable to use. The only downside is that it loses its edge fairly quickly, but that’s expected at this price point. Overall, good value for money.

Great value sharp stylish knifes

I have never had a complete set of knives before, so I do not know if these are brilliant or just ok. for me however, they were perfect for my needs. the largest one, I have not used yet. neither have I used the bread knife. the others however, have been used daily, for cutting vegetables and meat, even cutting between the bones of chicken wings. they go through everything I have used them for, like a knife through butter. I cannot fault them and having a cover for each one is a nice touch. the black handle and blade looks really nice. I have used them for several months and it is nice to see that they are still sharp, even though they are supplied with a sharpener. if, like me you need something just to carve meat and vegetables, then this set will be Ideal. if however you are a wizard in the kitchen, then maybe you know about the best type of knives to use, in which case, this review will be useless to you.

Excellent sharp knives, would defo recommend, was vary if buying o line but these are very sharp n do the job 👍🏽

I coltelli arrivano un una scatola chiusa bene ed carina .All interno ci sono specificate le caratteristiche dei coltelli e un pratico affilatore manuale punzionale ed elegante .Il bello è che ogni coltello ha il suo copri lama in plastica che è pratico e sicuro per i bambini .Già provati e sono davvero ben fatti .Come da manuale dei migliori chef vanno lavati a mano con un detersivo non aggressivo possibilmente liquido . Finalmente ho un set di coltelli che sanno il fatto loro .Consiglio l'acquisto .

Ich bin mit diesem Messerset wirklich sehr zufrieden. Die Messer liegen angenehm in der Hand, sind bereits ab Werk sehr scharf und schneiden Fleisch, Gemüse und Brot mühelos. Das moderne schwarze Design sieht hochwertig aus und macht sich in der Küche richtig gut. Besonders praktisch finde ich den mitgelieferten Messerschärfer – so bleiben die Messer lange scharf. Für den Preis bekommt man ein wirklich gutes Set, das sowohl optisch als auch qualitativ überzeugt. Ich würde es jederzeit wieder kaufen und kann es definitiv weiterempfehlen.
