I have been researching the newest weighted blanket options for therapeutic effects and this is a small-scale option. Just wish it was a bit bigger!

I got this weighted lap blanket and just it more when laying down sleeping. It does cover my lap but it tends to fall off easily as it is much smaller than a regular size weighted blanket. I really don't use it on my lap much.

This is a nice weighted blanket. It's soft and is about 7 lb. It also comes with a nice carrying bag, which if you've never owned a weighted blanket, is nice when you're not wearing it. 4 Stars

My sensory seeking kiddo will often request a "hug" while he's falling asleep, craving the pressure of my arm and leg across him as he's lying on his side. Sometimes that isn't enough pressure, but he doesn't like the feeling of a full weighted blanket on his whole body.This lap pad is PERFECT. It covers him from arm pit to knee, and the 7lbs seems to be just the right amount of weight.

I haven’t put this down since I opened it up. I have a weighted blanket from years ago and love it, but it’s cumbersome and not that mobile. This is mobile. First of all, the material alone is so soft and luxurious. It’s awesome to touch and feel, and it looks gorgeous draped on a couch or chair, anywhere, it’s beautiful. The weight is perfect. I use it when I hit the couch. It starts off on my lap sitting. Then all over my legs and body once I lay down. This is so nice and I just really wish I had it sooner in life. The size/weight is perfect. It fits targeted areas of your body relieving stress in a way, feels compressive. It just feels amazing anywhere you lay it. Highly recommend this.

I have a larger weighted blanket but this one is great for just hanging out in the chair. It is small enough that it would fit on my lap and not slip off. It would be great for travel and is well made. The blanket has many squares that have the beads inside of those squares. Some blankets have larger squares and the beads move too far and cause the blanket to become off balance. This one does not have that problem. I really like it-- 5 stars!
