Barebells are my favorite protein bar. The chocolate dough is my absolute favorite one! The quality is great and they taste like a candy bar! They are a little expensive for me but I’ll buy a box and eat one a day. It’s like a little afternoon treat with some added protein.

I LOVE BAREBELLS! They might be my favorite protein bar out there! They are the perfect texture, a little chewy with a little crunch... tastes great, not gritty or chalky like some other protein bars. The ration of 20g protein to 200 calories is spot on. These work as a goto protein snack and even a meal replacement or supplement at times. These are almost too good. I love this chocolate dough flavor.. this and the peanut one are my favorites. This is great value especially when there are flash sales. Definitely recommend!!

Taste great! Better than some candy bars.

I’m on the hunt for the perfect protein bar: great macros, 20g protein, no artificial sweeteners, and of course taste. This bar checks most of that off. The flavor is awesome, not too chewy, the crunchy pieces they added on top are all perfect (I got the chocolate dough). By far the best tasting protein bar I’ve ever had. I have to deduct 1 start for the sucralose. If that doesn’t bother you, get this! It’s the best bar for under $30. I probably won’t buy it frequently so I’m not having sucralose so frequently. I would kill for them to make an all natural version, maybe a little regular sugar or certain sugars from fruit?

I am absolutely shocked! These are truly the most delicious protein bars I have ever tasted! Even the best protein bars rarely taste really good but these are truly the exception.

This is a great tasting protein bar with good macros. Many other protein bars on the market taste horrible and/or have awful macros. As this is a protein bar it is a little on the expensive side, but I usually have one a day so it averages to about $3.5 per bar ($28 per box). Regarding the taste, this bar has the typical Barebell's chocolate coating with puffs which taste great (no protein-bar taste). The bar also has some nice softer chocolate in between the bar itself and the outer coating which is nice both in taste and texture. The bar does have a slight protein taste but it is not bad at all, especially considering that the rest of the bar (coating, puffs, chocolate) taste like they would in a candy bar. Overall this is one of if not the best tasting protein bars on the market and I would highly recommend this for people looking for a good protein bar.

First off, half the box was completely "melted" and stuck to the wrapper which made it literally impossible to eat. I live in very cold climate so I'm not sure why they were melted. I've had other brands melt, causing them to change shape but the difference here was the texture of the bar melted into the wrapper, fusing the two together. It could not be separated. Now, for the worst part: the chemical smell and taste. I usually purchase these bars from Trader Joe's. The instant smell was alarming- nothing like the original bars from TJ's. This smell was as intense as straight vinegar or bleach, the smell that makes your eyes water. As someone who has consumed just about every single protein bar/cookie/powder on the planet, this chemical taste was different. It wasn't the chemical protein/chalk taste. It tasted like, "I'm scared to finish this". As a former competitor, I'm used to eating things that taste "bad" to me at times. This is different. Honestly, I'm writing this review as sort of a warning. Do not buy food, drinks or skincare on amazon. You never know what product you are getting.
