So useful - easy to use and keeps everything on my shelf exactly where I want it!

I used this to hold down my babys play pen to the laminate floor. It was easy to do and the hold was so strong, even my baby shaking the pen wouldnt make the gel budge! I would defo buy this again. The only downside is that the gel eventually melts and spreads around the outside of the base of whatever object youve stuck down. Even when a small amount is used. This happens after a few days to a week. This is not good, because the gel end up becoming covered in hair, dust and crumbs and becomes unusable. I do not think this is due to climate, as i am in england where it is cold most of the year.

I must be honest from all I’ve heard of this stuff being great for sticking stuff down and not budging it does not meet that expectation. My experience has been a temporary sticking, and then it ‘melts’ but also falls apart? It does not seem to hold to itself let alone anything I want it to keep in place. Good for a temporary fix, but not good long term. It also seems to leave a residue behind which when rubbed comes off like rubber shavings from an eraser which I’m not thrilled about.

Great product, we use it to keep things attached as our cats love to knock things over! Stickiness and durability is great!

La adherencia que tiene este producto es espectacular. Lo hemos comprado porque tenemos gatos y bastantes figuritas y jarrones por toda la casa, así que al buscar una opción para prevenir accidentes, nos ha aparecido esta masilla. Es un gel transparente, no es pegajoso a la hora de manipularlo, y basta una cantidad pequeña para fijar objetos bastante pesados. Lo hemos usado con algunos floreros y decoraciones, y nos ha sorprendido su eficacia. Puede parecer caro, pero merece muchísimo la pena por lo práctico y util que es y la cantidad pequeña que se necesita incluso para objetos grandes.

One thing worth noting is that this product is not intended for hanging items on walls, so if you're looking for something to keep wall décor in place, this isn't the right solution. However, it works wonderfully for stabilizing objects sitting on shelves, tables, counters, and other flat surfaces. I originally was going to buy this for our camper but decided to also use this to keep picture frames from falling over every time they were bumped (by the dog running into the shelf frequently!), and it solved that problem immediately. As an unexpected bonus, I tried it under the floor mat by my kitchen sink, and to my surprise, the mat no longer slides around. That alone has made daily life a little easier and safer. Overall, Ready America Museum Gel is a simple but incredibly useful product. It's affordable, versatile, easy to apply, and effective at preventing everyday shifting and tipping. If you have decorative items, picture frames, or even household items that won't stay put, this gel is definitely worth having on hand.
