Definitely takes up some space in passenger seat.
The product is just as advertised. However, it will squeeze the passenger's seat. But in my car it definitely beats the makeshift cup holder!

Nought this because we needed more cup carriers in the car. I had to rescue part of is because it wouldn't stay dow. Otherwise, I'm very pleased.

Very high quality, exceeded my expectations and works perfectly to hold a cup holder phone holder.
My older BMW has flimsy retractable cupholders, which did not work with a cupholder style phone holder. This very nice cupholder accessory made it possible to use a cupholder-style phone holder. Now I can use my phone hands free and not worry about it sliding off the console while I’m navigating.

Fits perfect
I used to have a version that was just the plastic. The leather wrapping definitely ensures it’s nice and snug. Plus it looks great with the matching seat color.
