this is a great book for kids and my son loves it.

Expected stories with a moral, but there are just very simple examples of when the boy in the book gets angry and what his mum or dad say to him. Basically stuff our kids hear from us every day, no point reading about it as well. The Bible quote repeated throughout the book is always the same. Surely there must be more Bible verses about getting angry, not just one.

Horrible book. Don't read this to your child. It doesn't give any help about recognising and understanding our feelings and finding healthy ways of dealing with them. It's just about how you'll get punished and look bad if you lose your temper.

Got this for my grandson, who has a problem with hitting. I read this to him and my 3 year old granddaughter when I put them to bed the other night. Both of them were so enthralled by the book, kept asking questions. Asked to be read it again when I got done. There were a lot of questions, which I felt was great. Showed that they were really listening. Hope this will eventually help.

Great book, we arent religious but still enjoy them...there is one quote from the bible and at the end makes a reference about God in the questions but I still have these books amazing, easy for my son to grasp the concepts with different examples and even the quotes applied were beneficial

LOVE this book, what a great way to explain how you feel. My nephew loves this book, probably because he can recognize the frustration of having these feelings and not able to express them to anyone. Really great buy for your "frustrated guy".

What a great tool for helping teach kids how to deal with their emotions in a healthy way. We talk about "what would Max do?" all the time!
