Weighty rattler rope
If you are a beginner or even advanced and you're having issues with roping (feeling your tip, ease of use etc.) I highly recommend purchasing an extra extra soft rope. They wear in sooner and are overall easier to use. Do yourself a favor and splurge on this great rope from Rattler.

We like the Rattler GT4, 30 ft. soft rope.
I ordered this rope for my son and his two children, girl age 9, son age11 because they are getting into roping from horses. I have not actually used the rope but my son says that he really likes it and the children are being able to rope with it. Right now they are practicing roping their 4-wheelers, but expect to move up to calves soon. My grandson is having pretty-good success even though he is left handed and we are debating ordering him a left handed rope. (I honestly did not know there was a difference but am told that ropes for right-handed people coil up one way and for left-handed coil up the opposite way). Anyway, they are enjoying using the Rattler GT4/
