Arlo Outdoor Security Mount Designed for Arlo and Arlo Pro Cameras (4Pack - Metal,Black)

So bottom line is . . . these mounts are not quite as heavy (nor probably have the same quality of components) as the Arlo branded version. HOWEVER, they function as you'd expect. And considering that you get 4 mounts for the price of 1 compared to the branded Arlo version . . . I figure this is a pretty good deal. Ultimately, I actually decided to buy these mounts for use outside (in the elements). That probably doesn't make much sense when you first read it . . . but after researching reviews for all the various mounts, even the Arlo mounts have their issues holding up in the elements. Mother nature ultimately wins no matter how good the mount (pieces corrode, threads lock-up, etc.). So in the end, I figure I'll keep a couple of these mounts in reserve, and if/when one fails I'll simply replace it (same mounting hole pattern . . . a quick remove & replace). Worst case, maybe I put an extra coat of rust preventive paint/primer on the next mount if they really seem to deteriorate quickly. And even if I do end up replacing the mounts a few times . . . I still probably manage to save a few bucks :)

For the money these are a great deal. They are metal, what I have referred to as pop metal. However, they are a little longer than the Arlo mounts. With that they mount easy, and give the camera amich better set of options for positioning than the Arlo mounts that came with the cameras in my five pack set. Those were the smaller black plastic mounts which don't have a lot of motion range.If we end up buying more cameras for the outside of our home, I will purchase more of these mounts.The only reason my ratings are not all five stars is due to the type of metal used. On this point, the Arlo mounts that come with the lights seem to be made from a heavier metal. Not sure if that really matters in the long run, but we will see and I will update if they fail.

Nicely made metal product, great deal. However these mounts will not work if your using an Arlo solar panel. VMA4600 The diameter of the disk on the mount to tighten the camera in place covers access to the outlet for the solar panel. Unfortunately I am now outside my return window and am stuck with 4 unusable mounts. (I have Arlo Pro & Pro 2 cameras; both have the same issue with these mounts)

I got these for my out door cameras. It will work with the solar panels if you replace the large round "locking nut" with just a random nut you can find easily at any hardware store or nut and bolt pack. Just bring the mount with you to a hardware store and find one that fits... or check a few from the shed/around the house. Id also recommend getting better screws to hang these. Also a very cheap purchase while your at the hardware store.

Great camera mounts, easy to use, I did accidentally break one when I was adjusting my camera angle, but not a problem because of the great price of how many you get.

Great mount for the arlo camera only thing I didn't like about them was the set screw is little bit too big so had to remove so the camera would screw on tight

Very quick delivery to Hawaii (I think it was 2 days and the order was placed on a Sunday). Product seems to be working just fine. Lightweight but sturdy. Person who installed had no issues. Only time will tell how well it stands up to the extreme salt air conditions here.

We highly recommend these over the plastic one's. Items worked well and are much more durable.
