Lucky Peach, Issue 6 Paperback – February 26, 2013

I love this magazine and I have been reading it since the second issue. I had a problem with shipping where the magazine was folded over and damaged but Amazon replaced it within two days. I'm a bit disappointed with the Apocalypse theme, (really you ate Chef Boyardee?) but it is also funny (Chang ate Chef Boyardee). Overall the issue does not disappoint and I recommend it to people who like food.If you don't like food or whitty food commentary you will not enjoy this. Also, if you dislike Anthony Bourdaine you will not enjoy Lucky Peach because he is one of the founders and the magazine exudes parts of his personality even if he is not the main writer.

If you have a foodie in the family get them a subscription! This issue is the "apcolypse" issue and has some great reading on what will be left to eat if TSHTF some time soon! (tounge in cheek)

This magazine is always interesting, informative and funny.Great interviews. great pictures. Got it for my son, a chef, but I had to read some of it before I gave it to him.

OK, Lucky Peach isn't for everyone, but since it was first published, I've found that these issues are definitely great reads and lots of fun to flip through. They all have had great recipes tucked inside, adding to their value. Recommended!

I love this magazine...the articles are well-written, sometimes off-beat or intellectual. Graphics are superb, and the recipes are things I would like to try. Enjoy reading the mag as well as cooking from it. A bunch of characters.

A lot of great articles and hardly any advertisements. If you like food and/or cooking pick these up... Some of the recipes are above my skill level to be honest, but I'm just a home cook with minimal equipment anyway.

This mag is fun as hell to read, i love it. I cannot wait for more to read. I hope they eventually branch out to a bit more than just star chefs and to more unknowns though.

I don't know how these guys know exactly what I want to read, but they've done it again. If you don't have any lucky peach issues, this is a good start.So awesome.

Cool magazine. I definitely may buy more issues. Good contents and design. I wish the apocalyptic thing would have been pushed even further.

This edition focuses on the necessary skills for dealing with an "apocalypse" such as the art of fermentation, preservation, foraging and also the odd zombie-inspired food recipes.

This magazine was in wonderful condition.
