Charger works as intend, but I worry with how hot the back of my phone becomes after charging.

Great Charger for androids and apple phones
This charger is wonderful. It charges both android and apple phones. It charges quickly and you do not have to take your phone case off in order to charge the phone. It's perfect for the office or a stationary place in the home. However, if you need to travel with it, its light and small enough to fit in a small bag.

Naaaaa..... I don't think so.
Has a really small, barely detectable "sweet spot" that the phone needs to be placed over for it to connect.Even then, the connection is intermittent. I keep hearing my phone alert going off, not for incoming calls or msgs, but for each time the charger reconnects after having the connection dropped at random. Annoying as hell when bluetoothing a gentle rain soundtrack thru a sleep mask at night.It has nothing to do with phone case thickness or other excuses why it may not work.... it can charge thru a 1/8 in. thick leather phone carrier – when it engages.It is NOT fast. Most definitely NOT fast charging.Also, it sure warms up the dang phone. Like, a lot. That can’t be good for it, right?Let me tell you why I kept it.1.) I’m past the return window. 2.) I have other chargers about my home that I use randomly. I give this one a treat once a month just for being at the ready.Seriously... if I had to depend on this charger to keep my phone running for my business or other critical use, I'd ditch this in a minute.

Can't say it doesn't charge, just seems so slowly it has to live on the charger more time than not.... crud. Like others the usb port on my phone took a shtter (as has happened on a couple others phones I've had, I work in the trades so any ports tend to get gummed up). So it's annoying option though not a great one. And it doesn't charge through my phone's case btw, which would be nice not to have to strip it down to charge , but that's likely because I have a case that somewhat protects it from field conditions....
