Awesome for any ceramic studio
This is a lovely book I highly recommend it to potters who are new or have been doing this for years. I'm immensely pleased that Sunny goes into studio etiquette and ergonomics. The projects are well written with great pictures and presented in order of complexity. Reading this book was an energizing experience for me, a challenge to expand my skills and think more deeply about developing my own content.

Good book even for someone who's been working in clay.
Even though I've worked with clay for years, this book still has something to offer. Well written and lots of good photographs.

I have found some very helpful tips for slab building I haven't used before but am eager to try.
I am an experienced potter and hand builder by choice. I really like the environmental friendliness of hand-building (no waste, and no water needed), and the variety of building styles that can be incorporated. I also enjoyed some of the projects that I found in the book, which gave me a whole new perspective on how to hand build new projects that I'm eager to try for the first time. There were also many other helpful tips on exercises to help maintain muscle stability and avoid repetitive use injury, as well as studio tips and much more. A really comprehensive book that encompassed much more than just building projects!

Great book with a lot of projects
I've always like the work of Sunshine Cobb and this book did not disappoint. It has projects in it that are easy to follow and lots of other good suggestions, like keeping dust down in the studio and how to make magic water. Good for beginners as well as people who have been doing pottery for awhile.

Bought new, received used
The only reason for 3 starts is I ordered a new book and I got a clearly used book. Stains and battered edges and all. I’m not opposed to used, but when I pay for a new book, I expect to get a new book.
