Worth the money, this set is a good option if Lego is not preffered
Navigating the intricate world of building blocks toys, one often encounters universally recognised names - like Lego. However, venturing beyond this familiar territory can sometimes lead to delightful surprises. Such was my experience with the Garden House Building Toy. With 604 pieces beckoning to be assembled into a captivating Dream Villa, this set immediately stands out. Catered primarily to children aged 6-12 years, it's evident that meticulous thought has gone into its design. The vibrant hues pop, inviting young builders to dive into construction. These aren't just arbitrary colours; they breathe life into the miniature villa, lending it a charm that's hard to resist. The quality of the materials is commendable. Each piece feels robust, a testament to the premium plastic used. They fit seamlessly, and the overall sturdiness ensures that the magnificent villa, once built, won't crumble easily under the duress of playful hands. Functionality has been woven into the design, with many interactive elements sprinkled throughout, ensuring that the construction process is only the beginning of the fun. While it may not bear the badge of industry giants like Lego, this set doesn't fall short in delivering a captivating building experience. It serves as a testament to the fact that quality, design, and entertainment aren't solely the domain of the market leaders. For those willing to explore beyond brand names, treasures like this Garden House Building Toy await. Good fun build
I have to admit, when I opened the box and saw the number of stickers, I groaned a little, but they weren't so bad in the end. I had intended my 6 year old daughter to do this build, but the combination of electronics and being tired out over summer meant she didn't get around to it.I completed the build myself in a couple of hours. There are from memory 12 bags. There were for most steps two bags labelled with the step number. This is good for younger builders as it helps to reduce the number of pieces they need to search through. However, an additional extra pieces bag was used for every step too. What triggered me slightly was that there were a lot of pieces left over on the end of every step due to this bag. It helps to use all the pieces to know that the steps were followed correctly, and it also gives a bit more satisfaction. However, that minor gripe is pretty much the only fault I have with the kit. My daughter would have liked it to come with a minifigure as well, but there were dogs and rabbits included instead.Although the advert states it is not compatible with Lego, testing pieces with other kits I had around had them fit well.On construction, the pieces snapped together well, and have a good grip.

Awesome
With 620 pieces this Incredible building setallows young kids to create a dream garden villa over three storeys in bright colours and plenty of imagination. All the pieces are safe and non-toxic but should still nevertheless be kept away from very young children as they could present a choking hazard. This is actually aimed that kids from six to 12 years old and I think that's probably right. The ones that were lucky to receive this for age seven and eight and spent quite a considerable time to build something rather nice knowing that they could chop and change as they went and next time they take it out of the box and create something completely different. This would make a wonderful birthday or Christmas gift and it certainly brings kids -and parents- together to spend some quality time doing something other than just watch TV or play on the internet. This is well made very reasonably priced and fantastic value.
