While we like the light, modifications had to be made.
The light is ok, but black electrical tape was used to sloppily bind the rope on each end. I mean, really sloppy, not light the pics show. It looked like a kid did it. We removed all of the tape and wrapped these areas with twine that matched the rope. The electrical cord sticks out like a sore thumb, not hidden like in the pics here. We plan on painting the black cord to match the rope and attach it to the rope with fishing line to help hide it more. While we do love the light now, we shouldn't have had to make these modifications to make it look better. Would definitely buy again since it looks great in the room, but would make the same changes again.

Very nice with some adjustments
We replaced the electrical tape with brown wool to match the ropes and spray painted the aluminum frame with rustic brown paint.
