I liked it at first - nice and heavy. BUT - Lasted only 4 months. Started fading after 2 months to a light gray on the horizontal surfaces. 2 months later (4 months total) outer surface started crazing and cracking everywhere, water leaks through to fabric below and sits on car paint - Very Bad!!!. Seam tapes have yellowed and are now cracking off and peeling off everywhere. Seams are rough on inside surface and scratch the paint where seam rubs on paint in windy weather. POOR PRODUCT!!!!!!! Attached photo at 5 months (to the day) - shot!Seller listed for this item is Amazon.com. However there is no warranty or return possible. On nearly all items I purchase from Amazon, there is a return box I can click to start a return process. Not on this item! You're stuck with it, and it is unfortunately extremely low quality and durability. Do not order this from Amazon, or anyone else!

Over the course of 6 weeks, this cover has discolored in many places, cracked at the bends, and worst off it had a lot of water soak through it.Like another reviewer, my car had crystal clear headlights on it. After six week, my headlights had yellowed and cracked. This happened incredibly fast. I believe it may have had something to do with the heat of the cover and the water trapped under it.This cover looked great when it was new. The material is soft and appears well made. It may work in a garage for controlling dust but this certainly does not work outside in the elements. I would not recommend this.

Nice cover, well made and reinforced. Has two adjustable buckles that go under the car and click onto a waiting buckle. Interior has soft felt which protects the car and does not scratch it.This also comes with a lock and reinforced cable. I havent used the lock and cable because the buckle straps work well enough to keep the cover secure. Car is a weekend car that we protect and it stays clean with the cover on it. One person can install and remove the cover but having two is much easier.One word of caution... if its fall or spring and you have leaves or those small pollen type debris that fall , be caeful not to let the felt side ( interior side) of the cover touch the ground with the leaves or pollen debris as they will stick to the felt and you will have to manually take the debris off.Other than above, if you need a high quality car cover at a reasonale price, buy this one!

Ive had to order this car cover three different times. First time around I was sent the pictured cover with a hole torn in it. After setting up the amazon return, I was send a replacement that is a much cheaper model and def not the same product shown here, and was completely different from the original I received. The cheaper model was a different material, and did not have welded seams. So I returned that one as well and was sent another replacement which is the incorrect model.Make sure you get the correct model. It should match the image above, and have welded seams.The one I did receive which had a hole in it seemed like a good quality cover with a caveat - it is a pain to put on by yourself if you wax your vehicle. This cover has a cloth material on the inside, which is nice and soft, but also means its not gripping anything. I threw it over the car and it slid right off the other side onto the ground, which means dirt on the cover which scratches the car. Would be nice if it had something on the inside to provide just a bit of grip so that didnt happen.

I purchased this cover in April 2018 for my Magma Red 2013 370z as I thought Motor Trend was quality product and one I could trust for my now weekend car. Well, I washed my Z, let it dry thoroughly, and put the cover on the next day. The car is parked in my driveway as it is no longer my primary transportation; bought another car for to and from work to keep the miles off my Z. In the months between April and September I became very ill so covered it set without worry because the cover was a Motor Trend product! I removed the cover sometime in Sep 2018 and to my surprise (shock), I had white discoloring blotches in the paint that have not dissipated nor can I remove them as of this comment, 10/28/2018. It would appear from what I can tell, the cover forced moisture in between the clear coat paint and the Magma Red colored paint probably due to insufficient breathing/air flow to remove moisture trapped under the cover due to humidity. Disappointed is an understatement!! I hope this helps the next person considering this product. Haven’t receive an estimate on a paint job but I’m sure it's $1k-plus for a factory looking paint job. Wish all good luck in using it if you purchase one.

DID NOT come with the cable and/or lock! Other than that I bought this for my brother and he likes it as a cover. We noticed right off the bat it also doesn't say " Motor Trend" on the front like shown in picture... So the only way to tell which way it goes was to put it on (we had to turn it around because of course we put it on backwords). So if everyone of them are made the exact same you will need to put the straps on the passenger side. Also don't be fooled by the pictures for the vents as they DO NOT stand up like shown (guessing the company done that to help them stand out to be seen in picture). All in all I gave it 3 stars because like I said, my brother likes it (the felt or what ever that fabric is on inside is very nice and should keep from making scratches), as his car sits under a tree. So it does it's job protective wise. The reason I didn't give this 5 stars is because Like I said, it didn't come with lock and cable as it says it does nor does it have "Motor Trend" on front to help make it easier to tell which end goes where.EDIT: This was bought for 2018 Honda Civic EX and fits very nicely. Full Size up to 190"L

I just took my car out of storage and have now started using my Motor Trend car cover. I have a 2006 Dodge Charger and it fits good. Pleased with the fit n finish with this cover.
