The Seven Year Slip

A very pleasant book. I felt like I needed to read it slowly, and absorb each chapter at my own pace, because it touches upon feeling lost and finding yourself and realizing you were always there but just grew up a little..and it resonated with me a lot in this period of my life. Definitely a recommended read.

SOOO I went into this blind. I vaguely heard people loving it but let me tell you THIS IS SOOO GOOD. I was kicking my feet, smiling, giggling and rooting for the characters. Iwan made my heart ache by how cute he was and you cannot not love and appreciate him. Perfect hall read, the vibes are immaculate. It's cozy and hearwarming. Just fluff in a book. THO pls check trigger warning : grief, death. Bc as much as this book has one the cutest CUTEST romances out there, the main femail character is dealing with her aunt's death. Someone very close to her who died 6 month prior to the event of the book. It is dealt with delicacy and absolute respect. there's a note a this end of the book of the author explaining what she went through with her own experience of grief while writing this masterpiece (her grandfather's death). so be aware. This book is one of my favorites books of 2023 <3
