It's a lightbulb!
Well packaged and working perfectly. It's a bit slow to come on and not bright, so if you want a bright light, choose another.

Mirrored other comments. Not very impressed
Bought 6 of these to replace standard R80 spotlights. On the positive side they work and will save power. On the negative side they are several cm's longer than regular R80 and so protrude from the recessed lights and look daft as a result. They may be ok if you have non recessed light fittings where the length difference wont be noticeable. On top of this, they appear to be of the early generation low power bulbs and take 1-2 seconds to come on which is disconcerting coming into the room, and then they are dim until they warm up. So I wish I had purchased more expensive LED lights instead.

Pretty much as you would expect, so far
It does have a warm up time, not instantaneous. Otherwise perfectly satisfactory. The real test however is how long it lasts!

Slow starter but does get there eventually
The light is very slow to get going, initially thought it was broken. If this was the only light in the room Id need to wait before entering.But once the light is working it is sufficiently bright. As long as it continues to work and the power usage is correct, it works fine for my requirements and I will start to get the benefits from the energy saving.
