Terrible supplier. One star.Great product. Five starsHence the three stars.The lamp arrived bang on time (of course after an entire day waiting for the Amazon courier). Delivery packaging just fine - unblemished. But the internal product packaging was battered and torn and the lamp itself was clearly a return or otherwise used. It absolutely could not be described as "New". Whilst unmarked, I've opened enough products in a long life to recognise the signs. My email to the supplier noting this and requesting - if nothing else - some token compensation, was met with a blankly insulting denial. My request to know at least the availability of the x5 lens was simply ignored.Judge for yourself how likely it is that this supplier will deal responsibly with customers' problems. Buy from a different supplier.The lamp.I've already got one of the widely available tube-based versions of a magnifying lamp. Don't buy one on the basis of price! The clamps are so fragile and the weight and clumsiness of the arms that you'll spend plenty of time improvising replacement clamps. They don't stay in position - in fact they're useless unless they are constantly in the same position. I used mine for almost 8 months before I couldn't stand it any longer and bought the Lumeno x3 version.It's really excellent - very low distortion, extremely even illumination (I work on tiny components) a robust clamp and the arm can be positioned easily and it stays where it's put. I'd like to have both of the other higher magnification lenses even though it's not a quick job to swap them I suspect. I spent a lot of time looking around for a replacement for the annoying tube version - and chose the right product in the Lumeno - if not the right supplier.
