Laicol Set of 3 Tear Stain Remover Combs for Dogs

I bought this product because I noticed I could not just wipe the eye mucus from my Labradoodle puppy's eyes. I had to slowly acclimate him to me using this comb. I let him mouth it like a toy and placed it around his face over the course of several days. When I do use it, I have to be quick and can only use this comb just after he's woken and stepped out of his kennel, as he wants to mouth and bite during other times I've attempted to use it. It's a great tool and does it's job once you learn how to use it on a puppy that's just starting to wake up. I will say though that you need to wash the crust off the comb within a few minutes, otherwise, it is more difficult to clean for the next time you use it. I have not used the wider combs at all, yet.

I very much like the light blue comb with long teeth, it's very effective and makes me happy with my order. I would recommend that the other two items be a lighter color so that the comb contrasts more with the fleas. The fleas are hard to see if they jump onto the handle, which is common.

I felt kind of stupid spending so much for such tiny combs, BUT these things are worth every penny (though I did see a single from another company later for much less). I have a Yorkie poo and a tiny 3 lb Maltipoo and this gets the eye gunk out with little effort and the dogs for some reason just don't seem to mind! The teeth are finer and a little closer than even a flea comb which I had been using. Wish I knew these existed long ago!

I use all three combs on my Maltese! They get rid of red tears if you comb 1-2 times a day. I have red tear proofed my home along with her food, bowls, toys, clothing etc. But my Maltese has outdoor grass allergies which cause her red tears. I comb all her fur with these! She loves it, and it keeps her coat shiny. Most importantly, her red tears have gone down 75% using these 1-2 times daily. I also use Angel Eye Wipes and a special red tear face shampoo.

Works better than the flea comb I was replacing. I use a liquid tear stain remover applied with a cotton round, let it soak in for about 15-20 seconds, then use the comb to gently pull it out. Since this comes with 3 combs, my dog is set for life. Pick your favorite handle and give the others to your friends.

The combs work very well, give them a drop or two of the juice and comb them out. Used to use my fingernails, this is a great solution. Dogs do not seem to mind much, does not burn their eyes, and with constant application those eyes look great after the second application. If I slack off on the job, however, it comes right back. So this produce does help with this item on the dog maintenance list

I like how this came with three combs. It's the perfect size for my morkie pupppy and he's not afraid of letting me use these combs on him as compared with a slicker brush. It's useful in taking out the tear stain gunk and I also use it all over the body for a daily flea check. Of course, I use different combs for the different sections. Glad to have made this purchase because I was really needing a brush for his little face.

This product is excellent regarding my Maltese puppies eye crud. The teeth are so close that they are able to catch any debris that needs removal. Once that occurs, the only way to get it out is to completely wipe the comb clean. Great purchase for the price. The plus is that my puppy sits still for me to clean her face, which I follow up with the tear stain wipes I also purchased on Amazon.
