Might be a silly question- but which side goes face down against the skin? I did the soft side down for our baby and it’s not flush against the skin

I always do soft side down because my skin is sensitive and the rough side causes my skin to be irritated. Any tubie pads I use are not always flush to the skin, they’re more there to catch drainage so it doesn’t get on clothes or make the bumper and tube a mess, so I would say as long as it is catching the drainage correctly it should be okay:)

Will these covers work for PEGs as well?

They should. We have a mickey button and they work fine. It goes around the tube coming out of the abdomen so should be the same. We wash and reuse.

How do you keep these from falling off?

i have a peg tube so the wheel of the tube hold it in place pretty secure if needed you could try taping it down i had problems w the snap it was very difficult to work with so much at times it tore the material itself i did return mine w a refund i hope you have better luck w yours

Great for tracheostomies too!

We use these for my husband's tracheostomy. They are so soft and keep the plastic of the trach hardware from making his neck break out. We keep a dilute borax solution in a glass containes and put the used circles in the solution to get rid of secretion stains. They work beautifully and then irax cleans them well!

Great item and really like, but 1 drawback.

I love these to use on my son's g-tube. They really help with the leaking he gets. The only thing we don't like is the snap. It's bulky, weights the cover down in an odd way, and is extremely hard to unsnap. I won't even try to unsnap it to get it off his button, I will just maneuver it off because I'm afraid if I try to unsnap, I will end up pulling on this g-tube. I wish they came with a Velcro closure option, I would get those in a heartbeat! PLEASE MAKE A VELCRO CLOSURE OPTION!
