I am happy with the quality of this item. I am prescribed a bit of eye correction for reading, but mostly can still read without glasses (ie. not very bad), and I can read this very easily without glasses. Any medical personnel will be able to read this. I'd be very concerned if people were 'helping' me in a medical crisis and they couldn't read it, as they would then likely not be able to read what's written on bottles etc.I'd suggest keeping it very simple if possible - like one or two words per line - to maximize legibility.In real life I was once many years ago in a travel situation where this would have been helpful - I was abroad and lost consciousness, and because nobody knew about this aspect of my medicals, and it didn't necessarily require hospitalization, I was sent to hospital, only coming round in the ambulance. Result was big unnecessary bill from hospital...£1000, which was loads in those days. Thankfully travel insurance covered it, as it was a genuine claim, but I don't want to go through that again. This item would probably have averted hospitalization, and after checking me over they'd have just told me to see the doctor non-emergency.

I ordered a medical alert tag for myself yesterday and it arrived this morning. The tag itself is beautifully engraved with all my pertinent details. It’s reassuringly heavier than a cheap dog tag and the quality stainless steel used for this product really shows. It arrived beautifully presented and polished and the chain length is perfect.I couldn’t be any happier with this product. Great product at a great price. 👍🏻

I was searching for a medical ID band or tag and found the Dog Tag, it is exactly what i was looking for. I thought it would be similar to military ID Disks, but discovered to my surprise, this is much better and smaller, it is not too heavy and the standard chain does not snag on clothing. The engraving is perfect too, delivery was on time and well packaged and i will go ahead and order a second back up. Very happy customer.

I requested this one day and it arrived, fully engraved, the next day (a day earlier than advised). The quality of this necklace is amazing. The chain is a good length, not short, and the actual tag is of a shiny heavy, quality and is attractive. The engraving is visible on the reverse, and says what I need it to say for my condition. I love it! Much better quality than I expected for the price.

Did the job

Good quality item of a good size and weight but the engraving, although accurate, is very faint and difficult to read. The permanent engraving on the front is not much better. A little disappointing.
