Lindam Wall Mounting Kit White

We bought this to secure our Mothercare (Lindam-compatible) playpen to the wall - our son is now 2 and no longer uses the pen but it makes a great surround for the fireplace. It is far better looking, in my opinion, than the other safety gates that we browsed (most of which were black and had the appearance of a barbecue grill).It may seem obvious but it is worth mentioning that one of these is enough to fix a playpen on 2 sides (i.e. it comes with 2 attachments).If you have masonry/brick walls, be prepared for a lot of drilling - each side of the kit has 7 screws to attach. No doubt this increases the strength and safety of the mount.I should also warn you that if you have a Dado Rail this kit will be a pain to fix. The base lies flush against the wall and the outer attachment slides down this base like a sleeve. The base unit must be fixed to the wall first, after which the outer piece is slid down. The base has to be fixed at the right height. Our Dado Rail was positioned so that once the base was fixed to the wall, I could not slide the outer attachment down.I had to come up with a "hack" solution, which was to insert a piece of wood (colour-matched to the wall and cut to the size of each base) behind each base unit. This was not ideal and does compromise the strength of the fixing to the wall but it is good enough for our purposes. My wife did not even notice that I had done this (and she is hyper critical when it comes to such things).

Is fit for purpose. We had to add on a wood block to make fit as you can't adjust outside the playpen dimensions, as using as a room divider. We only used 3 of the panels and it is okay. A bit wobbly, so not ideal if your LO likes to shake things (like our 15 month old). The only solution to make it more stable would be to secure with some sort of bracket to the floor I guess?The mounting kit seems pretty strong in itself though

Great add on to attach the old style Linda’s play pen to the wall. You do lose one panel to attach the pen to the wall mounts, as it needs bit between the panels

Purchased to use with the Lindam playpen - it's now fitted as a large gateway to the open-plan kitchen. Just the job!

A great way to keep my toddler in or my dogs out! I have a mothercare room divider and it fits fine.

Arrived promptly from UK to Australia. Easy to fit to the walls turning our play pen into a giant safety gate.
