Cannot be legal in the US to be made from whatever smells like this.
Arrived very quick as expected. THE Dino at hatched is cute and has good detail. It isn’t super huge by any means. It didn’t hatch like most of these kinds of toys. The shell literally turned to a powdery egg shell mess.... within 15 minutes! It looked awful and was nothing like the photos lead you to believe. This isn’t the worst part. The smell—— it smells like paint thinner mixed with formaldehyde mixed with other deadly toxins if I had to guess. I’m assuming this would never pass in a US store. The Dino cannot be played with because of the smell which smells toxic if I had to guess, and I’m a nurse. It’s that bad. I cannot let my grandson play with this. I’m braving touching it just to show how “super huge” it really isn’t. That’s an iPhone 6 (not the big one either). It’s lying on its back.

My grandsons have really enjoyed the process and are probably the perfect age to appreciate the "magic".
We bought two for our twin grandsons who are four years old. They gave us two different color eggs which worked out perfectly in their favorite colors of blue and green. A card is included that has simple instructions. We used a large pickle jar so there was plenty of room and the boys could watch the process easily. instructions say it takes 12 to 24 hours to hatch, but within an hour to an hour and a half both eggs hatched. The blue one pretty much cracked in half like a plastic Easter egg, and the green crackled a bit more like a real egg. They are different dinosaurs. We are waiting the full three days to see how big it will get. My grandsons have really enjoyed the process and are probably the perfect age to appreciate the "magic". I will update this review after the full 7 days it says to give it to grow.

Cute
Enjoyed it for a little while, I wish I could have gotten 4 like the picture shows, I was in a rush and did not read the reviews thought it was a four pack (my bad) I wouldn't buy again at this price, unless it comes with more than one, I gave a good review because we love dinosaurs and they emailed and said they are working on improvements.

Don't bother
Strong chemical smell and once hatched, the dinosaur stayed all scrunched up. Only positive thing was that my son loved that it hatched. Unfortunately, ended up in the garbage. Between smell and it bein scrunched up, he couldn't play with it.

Fun experience for little ones
So the grandkids were super excited. On the 2nd day, their Dad touched the eggs and they cracked open and the dinosaurscame out. One of them had a leg that was undeveloped but the other was ok. My daughter said the eggs didn’t smell too bad but the dinosaurs had a funky smell. But the kids (3 and 4) really enjoyed the process

Does not work
This is a scam. Toy smells like gasoline and the smell gets on your hand. I had to break the egg to get the dino out. After 5 days of soaking, it barely increased in size but smelled so terrible I had to throw it away. Really disappointing for my toddler obsessed with dinosaurs.

Be careful with it & dont expect it to grow too much.
My son broke it in half, like a plastic egg immediately. I glued it back together and di the water. Took like only half an hour for egg to disolve. After Dino in eater 4 days he didn't get very big. He also had giant testicles which was just unnecessary!

Save your money
Save your money - it never grew even after weeks of leaving it in the water. It did hatch but it was the same size when the shell came off. Also smelled bad
