The package arrived before it was expected and it had clear instructions on how to assemble it. It is a very sturdy hand cart and I expect it to last a very long time.

I bought this to bring my 5 gallon water bottle in to the kitchen from the garage. It holds the water bottle if I use a bungee to hold it in place. I tried to bring up one step with the water but it seemed to heavy for the unit. Its probably good for carrying heaving things on a flat surface or light things up the stairs.

This "stair stepping" dolly doesn't even deserve to be called one. The wheels are too small, flimsy while the frame bends while not even reaching the rated carrying capacity. In addition, if your not super short good luck using it. While going up or down stairs you basically have to have the handle 2" away from the stairs to even use it. However it is very light which is a good thing but still not worth it. Handles are not long enough. Also while using the dolly the back extension for two small wheels will fall out during the stair stepping function and will also not latch as only one side will be in contact with the short pin mount. In summary, buy a different stair stepping dolly. I will be returning this POS.

I bought this cart to move the seats from my Honda minivan up and down my basement stairs. It climbs and descends the stairs without a problem. It is very stable on flat ground and is a very usable hand cart in addition to its climbing ability. Assembly is pretty easy, and it comes with two spare wheels attached.

We moved into a new office suite that is on the second floor with no elevator so we purchased to different stair dollies that were classified as heavy duty, this one and "Mount-It! Stair Climber Hand Truck and Dolly, 330 Lb Capacity". There was a clear winner, and this one was not it. This one took an hour to assemble and did not include the tools necessary to assemble. There are bolts and lock nuts but only provided one wrench, even though you need two (or really a socket wrench). I assemble all the furniture and equipment in our company ( 14 offices) and am a pro, so got quite frustrated with this, even with using my own tools. Once assembled, it was not nearly as sturdy as. the Mount It dolly. The Mount It dolly took less than 2 minutes to assemble ask was much more sturdy and stable. Both worked fine on the stairs, but this one could not handle the heavy objects or larger objects. If you need a good medium duty dolly for stairs, bo with the Mount It brand - much better value.

I had to contact someone through Amazon to help put the wheels on. The person from Amazon was great and together we were able to figure it out. No instructions came with the product and the wheels had to be put on a certain way. Once the wheels were put on it was a great product to own.

The wheel design does make it easier to go upstairs, but the height of the Bar is actually short. The thing that you are lugging up the stairway better be shorter than that or you're going to struggle taking it up. If you're taking something heavy downstairs, be careful, and take it slow, or it can take you down with it. Also, this design needs a support bar to stabilize the small platform, but if you're trying to maneuver it around it can scratch your wooden floors.

I hav a little difficulty folding this back up but its not an extreme issue for me. Maybe bc i am in my elder years and just not strong enough to fold it up :) anyway, using it for transferring heavy things is much easier, and that third wheel makes a HUGE difference. I have a regular type dolly and This 3 wheeler puts that old one in the shade. Going up and down stairs is much easier too. I dont have to struggle as hard to accomplish that with this one. But the third wheel is a back and shoulder saver for sure!!!!
