Good in wet areas.
There is a hidden benefit: standing on it during my showers has helped my feet significantly, they feel better. The matt has a modern look and finish. My shower stall tends to dry slowly but the matt is unfazed by standing drops of water. The floor of the shower is cleaner because of the water flow through and under the matt. In short, workable design, right material and painless price point.

Petri dish for a black mold experiment.
Don’t buy it if you ever plan to get it wet. Threw it away today after putting on rubber gloves so as not to contact the coating of black mold that formed on the underside after six weeks of use outside the shower by the way. I’ve since learned that some specify “no mold” vs this one that is excellent at breeding mold.

The surface is smooth and slippery. Not good for seniors and people with neuropathy.

We bought this for our basement shower. We only used it three times and already it's ruined by water damage.

I haven’t had this in the shower but three weeks and the bottom is mildewed really bad.
