Lawn Domination, king of the neighborhood lawns
Using Ironite regularly, approximately every 8 weeks, has worked wonders for my Bermuda lawn here in Texas, and I can proudly say that I now have the envy of the neighborhood in terms of yard quality. What I've found to be particularly effective is staggering Ironite application with my fertilizer routine, applying it every other 4 weeks. This approach has been instrumental in maintaining a healthy and vibrant lawn without inducing excessive nitrogen-driven growth, which would result in more frequent mowing. While the results aren't instantaneous, it's amazing to witness the transformation over the course of a week or so after applying Ironite and adequately watering my lawn. The gradual darkening and overall health of my lawn are truly remarkable. By the time 7 days have passed since application, my yard boasts a lush, dark green color that signals its optimal health. Ironite has proven itself to be a reliable and essential component of my lawn care regimen, and its consistent use has elevated the appearance and vitality of my Bermuda grass. If you're looking to achieve a beautiful, low-maintenance lawn in Texas or similar climates, I wholeheartedly recommend incorporating Ironite into your routine. It's a game-changer for achieving that rich, green, and healthy lawn that stands out in the neighborhood.

Fixed patchy coloring in my lawn
A lot of my yard was solid green. I had some very pale patches, and putting this down turned it solid green like the rest. Not sure why those spots needed it, but hey it worked great. Got the tip to use this from a neighbor. 4 stars due to feeling the price is high.

Worked much faster than expected
I was fighting a losing battle with my 2 female dogs burning the lawn. It seemed like instead of just were the peed burning, the whole general area was dying. I applied this as directed and went out of town for 4 days. Came back to a huge improvement. Looks green and nolonger about to die. I really did not expect this to work and especially so fast. It obviously didn't magically undo burn spots, but the lawn as a whole is thriving.

This should work well...waiting to see as the issue is likely me
I did a soil test and for lawns, iron should be between a 2 and 4, and my front yard was at a 1.3. That's after using Ironite in the past and everything else I put on my lawn also contains iron, so I have to assume that my lawn either has a thicker thatch layer, or the soil is compact and this is running towards the drainage ditch faster than it is absorbing into the soil. I meant to do core aeration this summer, but it kept getting pushed back. Aeration would allow water, iron, and fertilizer to easily go into the soil and reach the roots versus running on the gradual slope to the drainage ditch. If you're not getting the healthy green color, that is one way to help ensure these nutrients reach the roots before washing away. My last soil test was $26, which told me I didn't need any more fertilizer this year, so it saved me money overall. Lawn care nerds should do soil testing yearly, or every 2 years on the outside. On the outside, every 4 years just to make sure the soil pH is in an acceptable range since soil naturally becomes more acidic without lime to bring the pH back up to an acceptable level which is normally in the 6-.8 range, although that changes a little depending on the grass type. Anyway, ironite is a great way to add iron to your soil. If you're not getting a nice, deep green from your lawn with ironite, you may want to consider aeration. It doesn't matter how much iron you put down...if it does not reach the roots, it's not going to help much.

Expensive for what it doesn't do
Did not notice much difference for the price, seems kind of expensive and lawn didn't seem to green up very much as of yet. Will revise if I notice much difference
