The chopsticks are just as pictured. They are smooth and there are not rough. There is a plastic sleeve that is on the top on the chop sticks that give the cherry blossom look. It was really cute and the kids seemed to like them a lot. I recommend them. I do not believe they are meant to be used more than once.

These chopsticks are cute but you have to put them in the matching sleeve yourself. It's a bit time consuming when you need to use a lot of them. But overall nice and they give a good appearance. Wood isn't smooth on all of them.

Bought these chopsticks for a cherry blossom themed Mother’s Day hibachi party & they were perfect! The paper holders & chopsticks do come separate so you have to insert the chopsticks into the holders, which can be a little tricky, but it makes a beautiful presentation. The chopsticks are thicker than expected, very good quality & easy to use. They are of such good quality, they can be used over & over again. Definitely better than most of the disposable chopsticks out there. There was no splintering at all. Everyone loved the chopsticks!
