This product packs a punch with a premium feel...
24hrs into using this handheld - can't get over how premium it feels, given I chose the Metallic edition, that is exactly what you will be feeling. The buttons feel nice and engaged across all emulation so far. You have space for an external micro-sd to drag 'n' drop your games in their respected folders, either with a card reader (easiest) or through network mode via usb-c cable. You certainly won't be running into any graphical or frame issues when playing classics, as the specs on this unit can handle pretty much everything up to PS1 - N64 and DreamCast emulation is notoriously tedious to emulate no matter what you're running it through - so I would recommend an alternative for those.I recommend this product for anyone who roughly understands how emulation works, and would like to relive their classic titles through a brilliant screen, metallic premium-feeling unit with smooth gameplay.

Solid build but…
I bought this due to reviews but to be honest it’s not for meIt can loaded with ZERO games and although it had two slots I couldn’t fathom out how to put games on it.It just didn’t see the second card. I’ve a Pi4 Upright full size cabinet so I kind of know roughly what I’m doing. The layout is not great either, I guess putting another firmware - AKA operating system like Batocera / 351Elec (my goto) or ArkOS would - could solve this Roms issue, but for the money I half expected something on it not a empty MicroSD with just ports onSo it was returned.

Brilliant
Arrived on time. This hand-held games console is brilliant, takes me back to when I was a kid. So many games that I'd forgotten about across aload of platforms including playstation 1, N64 and saga megadrive and the ability to save a games progress at any time is a game changer. I would recommend this to anyone who loves old style gaming but equally kids would love it.

fantastic handheld device for emulation! 5/5!
superb build quality and design... lovely screen... really nice tactile button feel... metal shell just oozes quality and has a premium feel.... overall fit and finish is excellent!Anbernic have made the RG 350M the no.1 choice for retro gaming on a modest budget... the bundled SD (TF2) has tons of good games installed but optionally you can flash an updated firmware on the other SD card (TF1) and of course put your choice of ROMs on the SD for (TF2)...works really well... plays retro games on the various emulators flawlessly... my fave ones are the GBA and NEO GEO emulators... simplicity itself to set up but can be modded with custom firmware... (laptop or computer with micro SD card reader and Net connection required)overall i love using this device and its just awesome!5/5! A ++

Great Device, but...
Out of the box it's a very well built device. Buttons are great, screen is a good size and it feels solid. However it wouldn't turn on at first and it took a good 10 mins before it randomly booted. Been playing with it this morning and saw the battery was low and plugged it in to charge and there was no orange light. A quick google search and this appears to have happened to people. So, it's being returned. All in all, a nice device let down by potentially shoddy internals.

Returned as the power switch broke after only a couple of uses
Great console, bad build quality. power switch sunk into the chassis of the unit after only a few weeks use and even then it was only switched on a couple of times.Shame because it is a decent little unit. Gave it two stars because sometimes things are faulty and obviously mine was faulty. Returned and got a refund

Disappointed.
I was warned Anbernic quality control is poor before I purchased, and now I see why. As everyone kept saying, the memory cards supplied with the machine are cheap rubbish. This proved to be true, when the first time I tried to load a ROM, the card instantly kicked itself off my desktop and blanked itself. Absolute trash. I thought it would last at least a little while, but nope. I also noticed the design of the flash card slots was a bit loose and cheap feeling, and after a few uses one of the cards went up inside the machine and I couldn't get it out. I'm returning the machine. It seems like all the production money went on the admittedly gorgeous screen and brushed aluminum casing. I've bought a few handhelds over the years but this one seemed too good to be true, and it was.

Way better than I had hoped
For this money, this is a superb little retro gaming handheld. Came with an additional 32GB card on top of the 'internal' one, and it had a load of emulators and roms already loaded. Screen is bright and clear, pad and buttons feel really solid, UI is intuitive and simple. Word of caution - this is a console designed to run emulators, not native games/carts - so you have to be familiar with the use of emulators or willing to learn in order to be able to efficiently use it (I say this because I think it's really harsh that people are giving it 1* because it's "too complex"....buy a Switch if you want everything done for you).
