My new rescue puppy decided my original floor attachment was a chew toy. I ordered this to try as a replacement and it is a good substitute for the original Miele attachment. The bristles are soft and it seems to suck stuff up just as well as the original. My only issue with this attachment is the wheels are not made out of smooth plastic. Instead they are a hard felt like material. Which works fine on smooth floors like tile but not so great on my scraped hardwood floors. They tend to stick a bit when vacuuming it. Not enough to be unusable but enough to be a minor annoyance. I'm sure this attachment is probably fine on regular wood floors but I wanted to give you a heads up if your wood floors are scraped or otherwise distressed.

I was hoping this would be as maneuverable as the Miele horsehair brush but with a narrower profile but the articulation isn’t as functional as the Miele. No matter how you use the genuine brush it will stay in contact with the floor. This one not as much. But it’s useful for on our lanai where I wouldn’t want to use my good floor brush.

I own a miele and their accessories break and cost 100$ more than this one

This fits my Miele Turbo C1 canister vacuum. The wheels however, are not as smooth working as my original Miele which look like they are a hard plastic and roll easier. These are made of a appears to be compressed felt which helps for scratch purposes but pushing the vacuum is more difficult than my original.We have hardwood floors and tile. On the tile it works better than on the wood floor as I’m concerned that because it is not a smooth push, it may ultimately scratch the floor. We do have smaller rugs throughout the house that with the original we are able to vacuum accordingly, it’s just easier with the original. This new attachment does not work on the rugs (thicker oriental). It does a slightly better job on the thinner ones like non slip, low pile, thin oriental, mats etc. Overall, the product is well designed, it may look slightly different than the original and it works, but it does not work as well as the original.

The barrel of this brush attachment fits correctly on the wand of my Miele Delphi, but it is a snug fit attaching it to the storage rack at the back of the canister. The product video and text info. references this brush as being good to use on carpets; maybe so on a super low pile indoor/outdoor carpet, otherwise a floor brush is not suitable for most carpets. For the price point this brush seems to be an adequate substitute for a genuine (oem) Miele brush that is typically much more expensive. Of course, having used it only a few times I cannot comment on the actual durability. The opening inlet on the floor side appears to be a tad larger than the oem version. As referenced in another review, I am uncertain what the wheels are actually made of, but they are are not as smooth gliding as the plastic wheels on the oem - but this is a minor quibble and not a functional issue. My initial use was on a small area of our unfinished basement floor and in this use it performed well with the brush adequately attracting debris and channeling into the suction orifice, as well as retaining a fair amount of denser gunk in the brush that I vacuumed off. This brush also worked well on ceramic tile flooring with slightly more noticeable clicking noise from wheels going over the cracks, but no dysfunction.
