After figuring out that moths were getting in is through my single-hung windows (raising the lower sash creates an open-air gap between the two panes, giving moths, mosquitoes, flies, and other flying critters an easy entry point) I starting using clear, wide shipping tape to cover the gap. Just applied this weatherseal product to one of the windows. What a difference. It's much thicker (by far), was easy to apply, and it seals up much tighter due to superior adhesion. I test lifted one end to see if it would lift paint and it did lift a small amount. The only drawback is that I'll have to remove the tape each time I want to adjust the window opening (which I don't do often and will do even less so now that this tape is on).

This tape is AMAZING ! I'd never done this kind of sealing before and am not a crafty type of gal , but this tape was easy to work with, easy to cut, impressively the perfect (not thin nor whimpy) thickness. My window no longer has a draft nor does the rain sneak in. It only took me about 20 minutes to clean the surface. I used rubbing alcohol because it cleans so well and instantly dries. I cut the tape to the length I needed and applied it, then used a small roller to press it into place. I'd thought the tape was going to stick to me and to the roller, but it didn't. What I'd thought was going to take hours was done in no time at all. This tape is so clear you don't even notice it. I love this stuff. Amazing tape.

Great product

I have an older home and would do well to replace a couple of ill fitting windows. But there’s always unexpected things that divert my budgeted funds elsewhere. I finally duct taped the leaky windows but who wants to see that? Not me! Along comes this clear tape, thicker than duct tape. It’s easy to apply and, except for the glare from the light, you wouldn't know it’s there. (If they could make it “no glare” like invisible tape, that would be ideal!!)

Good tape. We have used it on several different applications and it has worked well for blocking out the wind and moisture. I had to have a bit of help to cut lengths since it is really sticky.

This tape is thick, but not so thick that it won't bend around corners. I used it to seal my bedroom windows, and it works really well. The adhesion is great, I've had it installed for about a month and it has not come off yet. As for removal, I didn't buy it to remove it, so I didn't try. I'm not sure if it takes off paint or not, but it definitely stays!

Roll is very sturdy, very clear and easy to dispense and cut off what I needed at the time. I’ve actually used it to do some small diy home repairs not related to weather and I’m psyched! I recommend and will purchase again in future if needed!

Unfortunately it lifts the paint, can be used on metal, acrylic, glass without leaving any residue. Installation is simple, have only used it to seal air leakage on my windows. Seems to prevent any drafts.

The adhesive is pretty strong as it can stick on the paving tile. Hope it last long.
